1) Updated Drag Racing Analyzer v3.2 We have posted the new 32 bit version of Drag Racing Analyzer v3.2 on the website for you to download. Visit to download the latest demo or to view a PDF file of just the changes. The 32 bit version lets you use longer, more descriptive names for your files, and lets you easily delete or rename files using standard Windows 95/98/Me/2000 commands and is more compatible with some newer printer drivers, USB printers, and Windows 2000 and XP. Other enhancements include: Optimize feature to automatically find best axle ratio or Converter, Time Slip for run summaries; "Instant Update" instantly displays new ET, MPH and 60 ft for after each change; 22 new Example Vehicle Files, Example Vehicle Files are now kept separate from your Vehicle Files; "Find" option only shows vehicle files you are interested in, like just "Imports" or just "Ford"; more accurate converter stall RPM predictions, and much more. This update is $25 for owners of DRA v3.0, $40 for owners of earlier DOS versions.

2) Updated Compression Ratio Calculator An Updated Compression Ratio Calculator is now available on the website: V2.0 A.005. The biggest, recent change is now you can click on the Maximize button and the program screen fills your entire screen. This makes it much easier to read on high resolution screens. Visit to download the latest demo file (cr-win95.exe) to get this free update.

3) Updated Fuel Injector Calculator An Updated Fuel Injector is now available on the website: V1.1 A.004. This version now lets you estimate the engine's HP based on 1/8 or 1/4 mile MPH and vehicle weight. Visit to download the latest demo to get this free update.

-------------------------------------------4) Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show This is the only trade show Performance Trends attends, as it is the biggest and best "hardcore" racing show in the US, and probably the world. The show runs from December 5-7 in Indianapolis, Indiana. We're in booths 829 and 831. Check us out for the latest literature and products. Please don't expect to purchase a product, as we don't bring products to sell. However, we do take orders and follow up when the show is over. Important: You must make arrangements with PRI at 949-499-5413 before you can attend. Hope to see you there.

5) Inertia Wheels for Sale One of our customers has several, smaller (16-18") flywheels for sale. He built them for a V-8 inertia dyno. Some are quite thin, and you will likely have to use more than one. Note that to duplicate the inertia of one 24" x 1" flywheel (typical for Briggs testing), you would need a 3.5" thick wheel if it was 18" in diameter. For very small engines, they may work well. You can contact Gus for details at accellodyne@

6) Recent Media Coverage The December issue of Street Rodder has an article by Joe Abbin of Roadrunner Engineering where he uses the Engine Analyzer Pro to build some flat head engines with good results.
