U-17 Pachuca Dragons II Green (2008, 2009& 2011 Maryland State Cup finalist), and the U16 Pachuca Dragons.. His first “Pachuca Dragons team” won four consecutive Maryland State Cups and two USYSA Region 1 Championships. Many of that team’s players play at NCAA Division I colleges and/or had scholarship offers.

Coach Zárate has been one of Maryland's most successful youth coaches over the past 15 years. He was recognized as the 2002 MSC Coach of the Year, and the 2008 WCAC Coach of the Year. Players who have trained with him have been consistently selected as the best in the Washington, DC area, with many receiving all-county and all-Met honors, while leading their high schools to new records. A major reason for this incredible success is that Coach Zárate has been a leader and innovator in developing youth training methods. His unique training sessions allow every player to attain his or her highest potential.

WITH NEW IDEAS

The Pachuca Futbol Club USA, Inc. is a non-profit organization created in 2008 to promote the development and growth of youth in the Montgomery County area of Maryland. It is a member of both the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association and US Club Soccer.

Our philosophy includes the development of players at the proper rate without undue pressure.

Our club feels that soccer is the perfect vehicle to help further the integration of the Hispanic community in this area.

Who is Pachuca?

Pachuca FC USA is an affiliate of Pachuca Club de Futbol, a professional Mexican football team, which competes in the Mexican Primera Division. It is the oldest team in Mexico. In the last 10 years, it has been one of the most successful clubs in Mexico, winning 5 national championships, 3 CONCACAF Champions Cups, the 2008 FIFA World Cup Club Championship, 2007 SuperLiga, and one Sudamericana in 2006.

Pachuca Club de Futbol is a Mexican club that has risen to prominence over the last 20 years in Mexico as a champion of the working class people. In the Hispanic community, it symbolizes the hope of the less fortunate to accomplish things that only children dream of.

Pachuca FC USA is committed to making sure that all players gain more than just athletic acumen.

what are our goals?

We are about the players first.

We seek to produce athletes who play progressively and competitively; and if they aspire to, in college and professionally. Correspondingly, student’s success in school is emphasized.

Our club seeks to strengthen the development of bonds between children

of different socio-economic backgrounds and cultures, all for the common goal of attaining success in their athletic endeavors.

Pachuca FC USA is not exclusionary, but rather seeks to attract a very diverse group of children with different backgrounds.

To attain these goals, Pachuca FC USA fields teams at all levels of play, including Developmental, Travel and Regional. There are teams at various age groups and leagues, including BBSL, OBSL and Region 1 (Colonial and Premier Divisions).

what is our philosophy?

Soccer, the ultimate team sport, helps teach the youth of today that goals can only be attained with the contribution and dedication of all team members. Pachuca FC USA hopes to demonstrate that a cohesive team of children, coaches, and parents can attain even the loftiest of goals.

Our philosophy includes the development of players at the proper rate without undue pressure. Pachuca FC USA is committed to making sure that all players gain more than just athletic acumen.

what are some unique training opportunities?

In summer, some players have the opportunity to attend international training camps, such as in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico. Players experience all the preparations before a big game from video analysis to technical and tactical sessions before the match. There are training sessions daily by professional coaches and their last game is at the Pachuca Stadium!
