Unit Outline for Of Mice and Men

Essential Questions: What does/should society do with individuals who are no longer useful? What are the qualities of a true friend? Why is the setting in Of Mice and Men so important? How is foreshadowing used in Of Mice and Men? What should society do with individuals who are no longer useful? To what extent are loneliness, friendship, the American dream, euthanasia, and power and control pivotal in the novel?

You will need your copy of Of Mice and Men with you in class every day! No book=Detention!
