Post of Instructor (Assignment Basis)

The Postgraduate Institute of Science (PGIS) is seeking a competent person to complete below

mentioned assignments for a period of three months. The deadline for receiving application is 17th May 2023.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist in organizing criterion wise Self Evaluation Report (SER) writing committee meetings 2. Preparing minutes of SER writing committee meetings 3. Assist in collecting information and evidence for Programme Review and Institutional

Review 4. Assist in carrying out any other quality assurance related activities as required by the Quality

Assurance Cell (QAC) 5. Serving in workshops and conferences organizing committees at PGIS 6. Providing editorial assistance to the newsletter of the PGIS 7. Assist in preparing and conducting the entrance aptitude test of Masters Degree programmes 8. Involving in research activities at the PGIS

Qualifications & Experience:

The eligible candidate should possess a M. Sc. /B. Sc Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in following areas from a recognized university.

M. Sc./B. Sc Degree Computer

Science/Biological

Sciences/Physics/Earth Sciences

Sciences/Chemical

Experience in documentation work related to undergraduate/postgraduate academic programmes and coordinating academic activities will be an added advantage.

Remuneration: The selected candidate will be paid a fixed salary of Rs. 40,920/= P.M. + Cost of Living.

Period: Initially for a period of three months and to extend upon the successful outcomes of the task
