From the Governor Livingston High School Highlander Marching Band

Winning championship trophies in band competitions, inspiring community spirit as we march in parades in Scottish kilts, entertaining fans at football games--this is the GL Highlander Marching Band, proud to continue our 50+ year tradition of bringing music to our community.

This all happens thanks to generous people like you.

All proceeds from Basket Raffle go to the award-winning Highlander Band to pay for instruction, music clinics, transportation costs to competitions, uniform and instrument maintenance, college scholarships, trips, and more. Every four years the band represents our community and country in Scotland, where they have performed at Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle and the village of Ancrum, ancestral hometown of the father of our school's namesake, Governor William Livingston, the first governor of New Jersey (post-independence) and the inspiration for our school's Scottish tradition.

Thank you for helping our students as they work hard to continue this tradition of excellence.
