Programs are based in literary arts, visual arts, professional theater performance, adult university lectures, courses, and film screenings. Grant B funds in part are used to pay a monthly retainer to the The Buzz Agency (a PR Firm) advertising, Artist fees, Co-op Advertising (eg. NY Times ads)

Boca Raton Museum of Art, Inc.

Boca Raton Museum of Art 2020-2021 Season

Award Amount: $153,313

Boca Raton Museum of Art (BRMA) will present 8-10 exhibitions in the 20/21 season that further curatorial interests, hold special community relevance, and promote art and culture. Exhibitions are enhanced with virtual and in-person education, outreach, and collaborative programs and events that benefit and attract visitors and residents. Grant funds will be used for BRMA marketing staff, outside marketing/PR services, outside professional services, and direct marketing/advertising expenses.

World renowned scholars, authors, performers, artists, distinguished filmmakers, and emerging talent are presented to diverse public audiences. Due to COVID-19, fall programming will be virtual, with hope for in-person gatherings to begin in January as allowed. Grant support will provide funding to enhance marketing and publicity efforts; fund distinctive professional performers and speakers, targeting programs that attract out-of-county visitors; and may be used for PPE to assure event safety.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) will use this grant to cover the costs of traditional and nontraditional marketing and advertising such as magazine advertisements, virtual programming, calendar listings, outside professional services, video advertisements and social media ad campaigns. This grant will allow LMC to have substantial marketing support and high-quality materials in order to enhance our programs and increase our state, national, and international impact.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum Heritage Site

Award Amount: $83,210

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum offers a variety of eco-heritage experiences through tours, programs, and events at a unique, nationally acclaimed waterfront site. Visitors enjoy touring safe outdoor exhibits, Lighthouse climbs, and nature hikes.

This grant supports: designated marketing staff, traditional, online/social media advertising, Cultural Council coop ads, website enhancements, rack cards/digital ads on the Florida Turnpike and throughout Florida.

Maltz Jupiter Theatre, Inc.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre's marketing efforts during 20/21 will focus on institutional marketing to highlight its new state-of-the-art, Broadway-scale production facilities and its grand reopening in October 2021. Pieces will be distributed throughout South Florida in an effort to revive local tourism, with additional focus on national markets, including NYC, and Orlando, furthering the Theatre’s reach and creating national interest in our jewel in Jupiter.

Norton Museum of Art, Inc.

Norton Museum of Art 2020-2021 Season

Award Amount: $159,471

In 2020-2021, the Norton will welcome visitors back into its galleries, with new policies in place to ensure the safety of all. The Museum will present outstanding exhibitions and educational programming, while also continuing to expand its online offerings for audiences at home. Grant funding will support advertising expenses, marketing personnel, and a national public relations firm, all promoting Palm Beach County to a broad audience that includes cultural tourists from around the world.

Old School Square Center for the Arts, Inc.

TDC marketing dollars will be spent to attract visitors to both our campus and our virtual media platforms. We will also use our funding to boost our social media campaigns, pay for radio, print and mail collateral pieces for performances, the school and museum.

Palm Beach Dramaworks, Inc.

In response to the current viral pandemic, and understanding that our patrons may not feel safe coming back to our intimate theatre until a vaccine is widely available, we have moved our performance space online. We've created virtual programs offered twice weekly for FREE to the entire community and will continue to do so until we can safely welcome back patrons to the theatre. This shift requires ramping up our social media marketing efforts which is supported by the grant.

Palm Beach Opera, Inc.

Palm Beach Opera, Inc. 2020-2021 Season

Award Amount: $156,797

Funds provided by the Tourism Development Council will support Palm Beach Opera's (PBO) 20/21 season including out-of-county marketing efforts that will positively impact residents and visitors to PBO’s mainstage productions in addition to its digital education and community engagement programs. Palm Beach Opera’s 2021 Festival will present three operas in a semi-staged concert format at the open-air iTHINK Financial amphitheater.

Photography Workshops, Exhibitions and FOTOfusion Festival

Palm Beach Photographic Centre is one of the most unique photographic institutions in the world, recognized as the best of its kind for the quality of master artists who teach at the Centre. The Centre presents photography exhibitions, workshops, evening lectures and FOTOfusion, an annual internationally recognized photo festival that attracts worldwide participation . Grant dollars will be used for the marketing, promotion, and presentation of the Photographic Centre’s programs and festival.

Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Inc.

Marking its 28th anniversary, the Kravis Center is planning an abbreviated performance season due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Even so, we have scheduled an exciting range of theater, music, dance, comedy and multi-disciplinary performances, including our popular Kravis on Broadway, Regional Arts and innovative PEAK (Provocative Entertainment at Kravis) series. We are also offering the virtual Kravis@Home series. The TDC grant will be spent on Artist Fees and Advertising/Marketing.

South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, Inc.

The South Florida Science Center plans to continue to bounce back from deficits caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting October 1st, we launched an extensive in-county and out-of-county marketing campaign for our 2020-21 season blockbuster exhibit, "Real Bodies" which includes digital, print, radio, TV, and billboards. The world-famous exhibit will be on display through April 2021. We are proud supporters of "The Palm Beaches Pledge" and use that messaging across our platforms as well.

SunFest of Palm Beach County, Inc.

SunFest 2021

SunFest welcomes 100,000+ guests each May to West Palm Beach to enjoy musical performances from various genres and contemporary art installations. Grant dollars help fund artist fees, production, and marketing expenses, enabling SunFest to market and present the best event possible. SunFest’s annual economic impact has grown to nearly $30 million. 30% of guests travel from 49 states, 23 countries, and 140 cities outside of Palm Beach County, generating off-season revenue for area businesses.

The 2020-2021 Palm Beach State College (PBSC) Presenting Season is designed to serve a broad base of constituents by offering live performing experiences and engaging diverse community members and visitors in four venues across three regions of Palm Beach County.The theatres will present 38 performances over 9 distinct series and special events.

The Flagler Museum interprets Whitehall, Florida’s history, and America’s Gilded Age through exhibitions, tours, ongoing preservation and conservation, and cultural programming. Both live and virtual programming will educate visitors about Henry Flagler and the era in which he lived. Grant funds will be used to promote programming through marketing/advertising, marketing staff, performers/speakers, and outside professional services/supplies to support programming and exhibitions.

The Morikami, Inc.

Award Amount: $129,111

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens proposes a marketing strategy to promote programs, exhibitions, classes, lectures and festivals to our broadening audience of out of the area visitors, particularly those from out of Palm Beach County. Morikami continues to evolve and expand, because of COVID-19 some of our programs, classes and tours will be a virtual experience. Gardens are open to enjoy and visitorship continues to grow. Our gallery will be opening and exhibiting in November.

The Society of the Four Arts, Inc.

The Society of the Four Arts: 2020-21 Season Programming

The Society of the Four Arts will utilize funds from this grant to promote our robust schedule of concerts, art exhibitions, telecasts, sculpture garden, films and countless other programs to a broad audience, in Palm Beach County, out-of-county, regionally, and in key markets through the nation. Throughout the year, The Four Arts offers hundreds of cultural programs and offers significant value to visitors who are seeking a unique cultural experience.

Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is an important cultural attraction in the community providing entertainment for the more than 300,000 visitors each year while inspiring them to care for wildlife and wild places.

The TDC grant dollars will enable Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society to expand brand awareness beyond Palm Beach County, and entice visitors to the area to visit the Zoo.
