Dear Classic Car enthusiast,

Due to the pandemic we had to take a break in 2020. The Working for Walton Team have been closely monitoring the government’s roadmap back to ‘normality’ and

having carefully digested the plan we are delighted to be back…we have missed you all!

Following the success of the 2019 Classic Car show, when 200 cars & over 1500 spectators visited throughout the course of the day, we are excited to be hosting the 4th Annual Classic car Show in Walton. Sunday 18th July, 10am until 4pm. Marshalls on duty to welcome you from 9.30am.

Once again, our fabulous sponsors, Chris Dews Milk Deliveries, Crofton Garage and Guy Salmon Land Rover Wakefield are supporting this year’s event. There will be lots of categories, extra prizes for the winners including cash prize for the best in show. We hope you will be joining us & have enclosed an entry form. Please complete & return to secure your parking lot as numbers are strictly limited. We’re at the same venue; Walton Club Sports Field is from Shay Lane, Walton, WF2 6LA.

Entry for Spectators is free, we will be selling a raffle ticket on the gate with lots of prizes, we also have free car parking throughout the village and there is lots going on to keep the family entertained so please feel free to bring them along.

• Staged live music throughout the day… this year we are inviting local talent to play.

The Service Station our undercover Village Marquee will be open as usual.

• Hot Breakfast sandwiches, all day BBQ Shack and Pete’s Wood burning Pizza Garage baking the most delicious Stone Baked Pizza. Licensed Bar and Prosecco tent, soft drinks & Ice Cream Van

• Our team of 1940’s Land Girls will be back in action again serving you in our Vintage Tea Shop. Refreshments and delicious cakes on offer

• The ever-popular Tombola will be open for business. Lots of Stalls again this year, including the ever popular ‘Ian’s Birds of Prey’. New for 2021, Local salon, En-Route Hair & Beauty will be on hand to create ‘Festival’, Hairdos…one not to be missed.

In 2019, the funds we raised contributed towards our Heritage Pit Wheel project, of which we are immensely proud. Please have a look at our website. .uk This year funds

raised will contribute towards our ‘Memorial Garden’, as a tribute to those people who suffered because of the Coronavirus pandemic. We also plan to fund a bench at the Walton Colliery Nature Park, near to the Heritage Pit Wheel.

If you have any questions or require any further information, please contact the organisers at info@.uk or contact the Car Show Secretary Wendy Parker on 07775 765147. You can also follow us workingforwalton & our new website .uk

Our event will operate within government guidelines. We look forward to welcoming you again in July, please bring the sunshine 😊

Kind regards,

Wendy Parker
