Lynn Cranford made a motion to approve the minutes with Ray Bowers’ additions and corrections. Ray Bowers seconded this motion. The motion passed unanimously 7-0.Treasurer’s ReportRay Bowers sent an email to the Board with a chart of all the CD’s that Jon Martin has put together, with interest around 0.3 – 0.4% to maturity. Scott Benge explained that the Budget versus Actual is on target, but there may be a spike in expenses due to the wind event and clean-up in regard to the downed trees. Accounts receivable is just over $10K. Two more RETA checks were received and will be deposited to the Edward Jones account by the end of the week, which will result over $1M from RETA for the Road Reserve account.Internet UpdateFran Berg mentioned how close the Ski Ranches are to a deal with Forethought, however there are two remaining items that they need to be resolved. The Board had agreed to 1) Forethought will pay for all installation, 2) the Ski Ranches rate caps will remain the same through each term, 3) Forethought and future providers will be bound by the service level agreement, 4) the desired terms are a 5-year initial agreement with two 3-year renewals, if they perform optimally. Jawaid is now asking the Ski Ranches to agree to an initial a 5-year term and two 5-year renewals, which gives Forethought the opportunity to be exclusive for a total of 15 years. The Board has not agreed to this, yet. The Ski Ranches plan to put in an additional conduit (at Jawaid’s cost) if the total bid comes in at $57K or under and if the actual costs exceed $57K, the Ski Ranches will cover the additional expenses, if there is any. Jawaid will also transfer ownership of the fiber that runs up 145 to the Ski Ranches, in which the Ski Ranches has requested Forethought for ownership of a total of 24 fiber optic cable lines. Forethought would install a second conduit coming up from Society Turn to the Ski Ranches. If Forethought is not willing to pay for this second conduit, which would cost $30K, Fran Berg said that she learned from Deeply Digital that they would not need it and that the Ski Ranches would just need the strands.Catapult Consulting Report & DRC UpdateScott Benge updated the Board that there has been a lot of DRC related issues in the past month. Scott Benge has spent a lot of time in regards to tree removal applications. There haven’t been a lot of DRC projects lately. Scott Benge mentioned that there are 3 main issues to touch on: (1) Marty Stetina and Todd Pierce issue, (2) Bill and Jenny Ward issue and (3) the Ski Ranches trailer visibility issue. There is conflict between what is stated in the covenants and what is needed to update to contemporary times. The Board agreed in the meantime, that unless there is a specific complaint from a neighbor, the board will not wander the neighborhood and look for violations. Another mention of the rule will be added to the Annual Meeting notice update prior to the annual meeting.Website UpdateScott Benge gave thanks to the Board members for providing input on the website. Catapult Consulting is working to implement the input and should have revisions for the Board to review by early next week. Ideally, the website will be ready to launch in July. Regarding pot holes, John Knowles talked to Telluride Gravel, but they are having difficulty getting back on schedule for this project due to a conflicting highway project they are currently working on. John Knowles also mentioned that the trails are open for walking and hiking, and he put trail markers in at Lost Boy Pond on Fox Farm trail to avoid confusion. Owners have approached John Knowles to contact Vector Disease Control for custom service in regard to mosquitos.
