Visions of the future final WHAP research projectFor this assignment your task is to create a timeline stretching from the last 50 years for the next 25-500 years. Your timeline must be rooted in actual events and historical fact. You will have to supply evidence to support your vision for the future. This assignment is requiring you to analyze contemporary events and practice the skill of causation to hypothetically project the consequences of the events on the future. While you are encouraged to push the boundaries to explore creative and fantastical futures you must ground them in relevant evidence that shows a clear causation from one event to the other. You will be assessed based on the level of analysis and use of evidence to support your vision.Here are the specific requirements-You must have at least 3 significant future events that represent geographic diversity and thematic diversity. Your events can be related and interdependent.-Each of the 3 future events must be supported with at least 3 contemporary events (current events) and 3 historical events stretching back into the 20th century-All events on your timeline must have images, and parenthetical citations.-All events on your timeline must provide basic information, WWWW and thoughtful analysis of the significance and impact of those events. 1-2 paragraphs, depending on the event.-You must include a works cited page in MLA format.-Your timeline must be neat and include a key, color code events or order events in some way to distinguish between the events/regions/themes.-You must have scalable representation of time. (1 inch must equal 1 year etc.)-Your future events must show a clear cause and effect, so you will have 3 “Significant” events but they will be supported by several events leading up to that event.SupportThe majority of the work for this task will be done over the last week and a half of school in class. We will have the mobile labs magazines and textbooks in class. We will also have materials to actually construct the timelines. The final due date of the project will be Friday June 6th. No late work will be accepted for any reason. AssessmentYou will be assessed on your final product on a holistic basis. You must represent a thorough and thoughtful analysis of each one of your events and their impact on the future. This will not be a meet the minimum type of assignment. You must demonstrate thoughtful reflection on past, present and future events and that reflection must be rooted in historical evidence. Your project must demonstrate clear causation between events and a sophisticated analysis of your evidence. ................
