Refer to Figure 2.Refer to Figure 3 for the following:Unclip the body tail light harness connector?(1) from behind the removed trim and separate the two halves. Connect the trailer patch harness?(2) into the body harness connectors.Re-clip the body tail light harness connector to the sheet metal. Use the adhesive backed foam tap to wrap the patch harness connector and tuck the patch harness connector into the channel, behind the other connector.Note:?The RHS compartment lining is a flush fit with the side of the vehicle if the connectors and harness are not contained within the vehicle body channel the compartment liner will not seat correctly in the vehicle.Refer to Figure 4 for the following:Connect trailer harness control module?(1) to the trailer harness?(2).Use the cleaning pad provided to clean the back surface of the module and the flat surface?(3) on the RHS of the luggage compartment above and forward of the wheel arch.Remove the backing paper from one side of the double sided tape patch?(4) and fit to the cleaned surface of the control module. Remove the backing paper from the double-sided pad on the back of the control module, align the module to the right edge and with the top of the flat area. Push the unit onto the sheet metal. Maintain the pressure for 5 seconds to ensure good adhesion.Cable tie the control module harness to the body harness over the top of the rear wheel arch.Refer to Figure 5 for the following:Run the trailer harness earth wire to the vehicle earth bolt beside the rear compartment lid latch.Remove the vehicle earth bolt, add the trailer harness earth to the bolt and refit bolt and tighten to specified torque.Refer to Figure 6 for the following:Run the trailer harness along the body harness and into the spare wheel well, align the harness so that it runs into one of the wheel well's reinforcing channels. Use the small cable ties supplied to secure the trailer harness and earthing wire to the body harness (4 places).Use a hole saw to drill a 20mm in the rear RHS of the spare wheel well. Remove any burs from the hole and pass the trailer harness through the hole until the grommet on the harness is fitted into the hole. Check the grommet is seated correctly.Cut a centre of the square adhesive patch?(5), apply over the harness grommet and the spare wheel well.Go to Plug assembly Sedan and Wagon section.FITTING INSTRUCTIONS: Wagon installation onlyOpen the rear luggage compartment and remove the spare wheel cover.Pull up to remove the rear tailgate floor sill trim?(1).
