R&D/Leverage offers a wide range of services from initial product design and analysis, rapid prototyping,

precision manufacturing, 3D part scanning, mold maintenance/refurbishment and repair, and customer

assistance.

CREATIVE PRODUCT DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

Our Design Studio services include upfront

research such as retail audits of trend and

color study, ethnographic research, consumer

focus groups, concept development, validation,

and implementation. Our Engineering Product

Design service evaluates designs from initial

product concept through final tool design.

DESIGN ANALYSIS

MOLD MAINTENANCE / REFURBISHMENT AND REPAIR

Our technical expertise includes the use of

finite element analysis (FEA) and mold flow

analysis. Our research team provides structural

and thermal analysis to evaluate stress and

temperature distribution parts, as well as your

fill, pack, and cooling scenarios.

RAPID PROTOTYPING

We offer rapid prototyping services and is a

specialist in Stereolithography (SLA). As an

alternative, Room Temperature Vulcanization

(RTV) can be used. We also offer a non-contact

laser digitizer service.

Whether you need an emergency quick repair,

or an extensive review of a family of molds, or a

complete repair program overall, we are here to

help you. We are centrally located in the United

States and offer 24/7 repair services.

PRECISION MANUFACTURING

We have moved into precision manufacturing

of high precision parts by leveraging our

engineering know how and state of the art

manufacturing equipment and processes.

CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE

3D PART SCANNING

We offer the next generation of product

development and speed to market with noncontact 3D laser scanning. 3D scanning is

virtually limitless on what can be scanned,

regardless of part size, complexity, material or

color. Parts to be scanned can be sent to us, or

we can travel to your site.

If needed, we offer a paid for service program

we call ¡°Customer Assistance Program¡±

(CAP). This can be up to three days of startup assistance in your plant on new full tool

purchases. We offer processing assistance and

evaluation on any tool, whether built by us or

anyone else.
