Here is what you will need to complete this week for homework. There will be a Reading and Spelling test this week. Please study at least 30 minutes per day and be sure to get enough rest at night to come prepared for class the next morning. Please copy these homework assignments down in a safe place so that if you lose this handout, you will be aware of what the homework is each night Parents, please read, sign and have your child return this form by Monday. It is extremely important that we work together to ensure that all students are completing classwork and homework assignments completely and that parents are aware of student test grades. In an effort to conserve paper, please let me know based on Engrade if there is a test that you would like a copy of. Students who score below 80% will be given a copy of that test automatically and will be required to return it with a parent’s signature. Students MUST continue to take the time to study class notes and complete homework in order to successfully complete classwork and upcoming exams. Students will be given short math quizzes on some Fridays based on what we cover in class that week. Please make sure that you are having your child read daily to practice decoding and comprehension skills that are necessary to improve their reading level. All students should be completing the 4th grade Study Island program. Your child has been given their Study Island password. Please make sure that students are using the Study Island program 3-4 times (for at least 30 minutes) per week at the minimum.Thank you for all you do.Please visit (our class website) for student resources that can be used to practice some of the skills that we’ve been working on in class! ccarlton@Parent’s Name and Signature:__________________________________________________ Printed Name__________________________________________________Signature ................
