Writing Component-To prepare students for their presentation they will use the 5 step writing process to organize their information and ideas to have a better understanding of the countries they are presenting. Steps: Prewriting- Students will use the internet, books, articles and anything around the classroom to write down the information needed in their presentation. Students must find enough information in order to answer the questions presented on the presentation requirements powerpoint. Reread- Before presenting notes and information found to your group you must reread your information first and make any changes you think necessary. Peer edit- students share their information with someone in their group and give each other suggestions about what they should change, add, take out or anything else they may be missing. Students will do this using word revision tools (information on project page) Revise- Students will then take the suggestions of their group members and add that into their presentations. They must have a least five changes from prewriting draft. Final Draft- before presenting project at the culture fair each group member must go over their section of the presentation and get any last input from group members. **Note- each step of the writing process must be done in order to get full credit. ................
