c) Recommend one (1) prototype that could be created.

d) Determine the type of evaluation method to use in a Web design for the best user experience.

e) Provide key details of how the mobile self-service will be implemented on various mobile devices.

The purpose and goals of a mobile self-service is to increase the revenue of the brick and mortar Sports R Us business and to improve the e-commerce profitability for the store. The company hopes and plans to generate 40% more in profit for its business by using online means such as the mobile self-service. With the service being made available on a variety of online and mobile platforms, this will widen the market for customers that can use the service. As well, the purpose and goals of a mobile self-service are to increase the visibility of Sports R Us to a wider market of customers who are shopping online for sports goods and sports products.

The company projects that with a 40% per annum growth in revenue over the next five years, more employees can be hired and a devoted department committed to just our online services will be created and established and become a vital profitable market that runs alongside our brick and mortar Sports R Us offices and stores. Next, I will discuss the target segment (audience).

The target segment (audience) includes anyone that is interested in sports equipment and sports goods. Our services offer golfing products, basketball products, archery products, baseball products, badminton products, bocce ball products, cricket products, chess products, football products, horse riding gear, jumping skipping ropes, kites, knitting products, racing sports car gloves, rugby products, tennis rackets and apparel, workout and exercise clothes and yachting products to name a few. With all of these products that Sports R Us sells, our target audience are people who are interested in a specific sport and/or a variety of sports and they can come to us for all of their sporting needs. Next I will discuss the audience needs and wants.

Audience Needs and Wants

The audience needs and wants vary based on the interests in sports of the customers. Since we offer a wide variety of products, we answer to all of the needs and wants of our customers. The more basic needs and wants of our customers for our online and mobile self-service applications would include a great server environment and user-friendly e-commerce device that is easy to use and simple to navigate through. As well, we keep our shipping of the products prices low in order to encourage our customers to buy online and through mobile devices. We frequently offer coupon deals on our products so that customers are encouraged to purchase their sporting goods when there are sales so they are receiving the best value for the best quality, as well, we also offer free shipping incentives to encourage customers to purchase their sporting goods online and through the mobile devices.

The same with Amazon, we will also allow customers to resell old sporting equipment on our Sports R Us website as well so there will be online consignment seller agreements with some of our customers who would like to resell their equipment.

Just like Amazon’s website as well, we will have online sites all over the world, not just in the Americas. This is why our 40% goal of increased revenue is a realistic goal as we open ourselves up to the world market.
