The PGA of America and Kohler Co. Announce Approaching Sell-Out Of Corporate Hospitality Inventory For The 2015 PGA Championship

First time in history that all corporate hospitality will be located on-course at Whistling Straits

KOHLER, Wis. – The PGA of America and Kohler Co. announced today that a very limited number of corporate hospitality options remain available for the 2015 PGA Championship, which is quickly nearing a sell-out of its entire inventory. The 2015 PGA Championship will take place August 10-16 on the Straits Course at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis., which has played host to two previous PGA Championships.

Notably, this year marks the first time in history that all corporate hospitality options will be located on-course at Whistling Straits. Work completed on the course after 2010 – the last year the PGA Championship was held at Whistling Straits – allowed for this change, which has garnered an enthusiastic response from local, regional and national companies. The Championship has seen a 40 percent increase in overall corporate hospitality sales when compared to the 2010 event.

“The response to our official 2015 PGA Championship corporate hospitality offerings, including the new products and new locations, has been tremendous – from both past and new partners – and in fact, it led us to open expansion plans for both our Chalet and Champions Club products last year,” said 2015 PGA Championship Director Jason Mengel. “If any companies are interested in securing corporate hospitality for the Championship but haven’t committed with us yet, I encourage them to secure their place today.

With our week-long ticket options for the 2015 PGA Championship selling out last year, we expect the remaining Champions Club and Sarazen Suites inventory to go quickly as companies finalize their plans surrounding this event.”

A Closer Look: Limited Remaining Offerings

Limited remaining corporate hospitality options for the 2015 PGA Championship include:

• 10-guest tables in the Champions Club adjacent to Hole 1

• 30- guest Gene Sarazen Suites adjacent to Hole 16

• 50-100 guest Chalets adjacent to Hole 15

Champions Club Tables

The Champions Club location is a vast improvement over 2010, with its new location on the players’ right of the first green. The Champions Club offers companies a great, turn-key option for entertaining a smaller group at a reserved Company table with all planning done for them. These all-inclusive, week-long packages are priced at $35,000.

Gene Sarazen Suites

Located in prime position adjacent to the 16th green with an amazing view of Lake Michigan, the Gene Sarazen Suites are a new product for this year’s PGA Championship at Whistling Straits. The suites offer companies a unique hybrid of the private meeting space aspect of a chalet, and the turn-key nature of planned tables. Companies may conduct business in their own reserved area while enjoying the Suites open bar and buffet. Suites are priced at $99,000.

Private Chalets

The 2015 PGA Championship chalets – tailored to 50 to 100 guests – are located on-course at Hole 9 (sold out), Hole 17 (sold out), Hole 18 (sold out) and Hole 15 (added via expansion plan – limited availability remaining). The chalets provide a private environment with the ability to customize food, beverage and interior décor for a unique corporate branding and entertainment experience. Chalet hospitality purchasers for the 2015 PGA Championship also have the exclusive opportunity to own first right of refusal for on-course hospitality locations for the 43rd Ryder Cup Matches, which will be played at Whistling Straits in 2020. Chalet pricing starts at $165,000 for 50-person chalets and $270,000 for 100-person chalets.
