The due dates will be listed on the models and my expectation is that it is turned in by that date. Check your emails regularly. This is also located on Launchpad as Office 365. All emails should have a subject, greeting, and must be written in an academic tone. Have access to Microsoft Teams (you have a Microsoft email address provided by the county). It is located in your Infinite Campus. This is also located on Launchpad as Office 365.Keep in regular contact with me. If something is going on that is preventing you from completing your assignment, it is your job to inform me. Textbook:The math book is online and can be found on your Launchpad. The link for Launchpad is . Math book app is HRW Collections (Holt McDougal Online; MyHRW).AssignmentsAssignments will be located in Canvas. Canvas app is located in your Launchpad.Assignments are an opportunity for the students to demonstrate mastery of a required skill or standard. Assignments are an informal way to assess whether a student has grasped the skills necessary in order to move forward.Students will be given an assignment for each module. By mastering module assignments students will be able to master test and quizzes. Tests are announced in advance.All assignments must be complete. No assignment will be given without a thorough explanation and an opportunity to ask questions. Therefore, efforts should be in evidence that the student has attempted the assignment even though mistakes may be made.Assignments are considered late if it is not turned in by the date listed in Canvas. Students may email me in advance if they have any questions about assignments. All work must be made up within the specific given time frame. Assignments will be located on the instructor’s webpage.CheatingCheating is not tolerated here at AR Johnson and is HIGHLY discouraged. Cheating on an assignment will result in a grade of “0” on the assignment and disciplinary action.Grade RecoveryIf a student has been unsuccessful in proving his/her mastery of a concept/standard, parents will be contacted. The student will be given the opportunity to revisit concepts/standards with?USA Test Prep, iReady?or some other supplemental site for differentiated instruction. Dr. Mills will monitor the student and prescribe next steps and final assessments for grading.TutoringAvailable on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. upon request with a 24 hour notice. Parent Teacher Conferences:Conferences are scheduled through the main office. Conferences will be online (Microsoft Teams or by phone).Communication: Check agenda for information pertaining to behavior and academics. Infinite Campus gives up to date academic information.
