Reading Assignment:Overview: Love your Book!Estimated Time: 40 minutes daily Explanation of Activity: You will choose a sixth-grade appropriate book to read independently. You may choose fiction or nonfiction and will be recording your reading each day.Tasks: Each day you will read your chosen book for 30 minutes. Using a notebook or Microsoft Word, you will write about one of the following options below for 10 minutes. Remember you can access the Pine Run Library for online or e-books if you need something new. Activity:Choose an appropriate fiction or nonfiction book.Then, respond to your book each day in a notebook or word document.Choose one idea to help vary your responses to the literature each day. How could you get others to join the fun? What games or foods would be served? Why is the holiday important to you?Wednesday- Prompt: If you could end any one problem in the world, what would and be and why? (Hunger, sickness, etc.)Thursday- Choose one to write about:Prompt 1: If you could live inside any video game, which would you choose? Why? Prompt 2: If you could throw a party for all your friends, what would it be like? Where would you hold it? What would you do? Who would come?
