In the past month, Jim Thornton advised me that he was resigning and would be relocating to the South Texas valley.

He has assumed a position with Santex International Idealease and will be coordinating their sales and operational efforts in that new RGV Idealease facility in Weslaco, TX.

Jim was a long time acquaintance and long time employee of Idealease and Idealease National Accounts. We all wish “Thunder” the best in his move and new position.

Having said that, Thunders departure gave us an opportunity to reevaluate our efforts and coverage of the fertile Texas market. After careful consideration, it was decided that we would make Texas a complete territory and have Rich Corcoran assume the position of Area VP – Texas for National Accounts.

Effective immediately, Rich will assume all of the accounts that Jim Thornton previously handled as well as the many accounts that he has in his portfolio. Any questions regarding and current accounts that were handled by Jim Thornton should be directed to Rich Corcoran.

Rich and I made calls in the past few days to several of the key accounts that Jim used to handle to facilitate the transition from Jim to Rich.

Please give Rich the support that you have afforded Thunder in the past and we will continue to drive National Account business to your operations.

Milgard Mfg. Julie Wilson is whom I deal with and who signs the Schedules. With that said, she will not sign unless her local Dist. Mgr. recommends us. Milgard has a number of units about to term with Penske and Ryder, so now would be a good time to meet with them locally.

Currently in Mexico we have active fleet of 359 NA units and 140 Daily Rent and 350 local accounts

Francisco Arellano:

Fast Food Road - Extended 2 months CM with old units, we are in the process to in-service 24 new trucks that will replace the first CM. This new CM will have a term of 3 years due to high mileage vehicles.

Cemex - After a 5 month pilot test period, in May we signed 3 year CM - 146 tractors in 8 locations. Thank you to all dealers involved in this operation, with out teamwork it would not have been possible to have a successful start up and sign a contract. Now we must deliver, in a consistent manner, the services that we provide to Cemex.

Cool Cargo - Grown fleet to 18 tractors, last month in-serviced three 9400 ISX units on Unbundled FSL.

Chapa Distribución - Grown fleet to 22 trucks in CM. In-serviced 4 units last month. We are working to sign 3 more units in September.

Chapa Logística - Will sign 3 CM to grow fleet to 23 CM. Chapa Logistica does 7/11 logistic services.

Currently working in a sales process with Grupo Modelo, Soriana, Paquete Express, Grupo Ochoa, Madinsa, and Operadora Merco.

Guillermo Cruz:

La Huerta - Signed 4 CF Truck full service leases located in 4 locations. With the new units the fleet will grow to 7 units. La Huerta has signed an agreement with Schwans food to start developing home delivery in Mexico. Thirteen CF units will start a pilot center in Aguascalientes.

Frialsa Logistica - Signed four FSL 4400-250 with reefer bodies to serve 2 locations. Fleet has increased to 5 units.

Currently working in a sales process with Pacific Star, Buenavista Flora, Red Pack, Radec, Pisa, Grupo SOS.
