2019-2020 8th grade Supply List

The following items will be shared between your Science and Math classes. Each student will need to bring one each of the following:

3-ring binder (1?" ? 2") Filler paper, enough for the year Pencil pouch for binder Pencils, enough for the year (mechanical

preferred) Earbuds

Stylus for iPad (if you wish, not necessary) Scientific calculator ? the same one recommended

in Math 7 (typically lasts 4-6 yrs) TI-30Xa ($8.94 at Walmart) TI-30X IIS ($8.88 at Walmart -- *preferred)

**All of the above is to be kept in the binder and brought to both Science 8 and Math 8 every day.

Science 8

All Students: 2 spiral notebooks (single subject only -- you may store these in the classroom) 3 x 5 cards highlighter(s) colored pens or pencils

Last name A-M: 1 box of kleenex to donate to classroom

Last name N-Z: 1 pack of pencils to donate to classroom (any type)

Math 8

1 spiral notebook (at least 100 pages)

1 box of kleenex

Social Studies 8

Pens Pencils Colored pencils or markers

8th Grade English/Honors English

1 pack of loose-leaf paper KLEENEX

Three-ring binder with pockets in the front and back (1" width)

Packet of tab dividers (5 tabs) One composition notebook (thread bound/NOT a

spiral notebook) Writing utensils -- pencils, pens (no green or

purple ink), stylus for iPad (if you prefer) Earbuds

Research Rotation -- 2-pocket folder

Highlighter set (5 colors: pink, orange, green, blue, yellow)

Pencil holder (pocket that clips into your binder to store pencils, pens, stylus, highlighters).
