Well it's that lovely time of year again. Tomorrow afternoon looks like it may get nasty with freezing rain. We have dozens of tons of road salt already delivered in anticipation. Rust never sleeps. For those new people to ECC and for those that have selective amnesia, below is the ECC information on closings due to inclement weather. We try to make a decision on school days before 5:30 a.m. for day classes and 3:00 p.m. for night classes. I know it’s between classes, but we still try to adhere to that schedule if possible. We put a recorded message on our main greeting at 847-697-1000 and a banner on our website.

The VPA and UBC have "outside rental" events and have their own schedules and people should be aware of that.
The ECC grounds crew and custodial crew do yeoman's work to get the lots and sidewalks ready for everyone prior to 6 a.m. Thanks! Paul
