Summary PROFILE :

Presently I am working as a Associate Professor in Department of Sociology, Govt. Degree College, Aland, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga. I did my post graduation in Sociology in a year 1986 from G.U.G. than I moved to Mumbai for higher studies and completed second master in population studies in a year 1988 and subsequently completed M.Phil. in 1989 and Ph.D. in 1996 from International Institute for Population Sciences.

However, during a decade stay in Mumbai I had got the opportunity and experience of working with National and International Research Agencies like (ILO, WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA UNDP USAID, for Foundation) and Government/ Non Government organized like (TISS, IIPS, FPAI, GOM & GOI; by associating myself with the Slum, Rural and Tribal people, and holding different positions starting from research investigation to senior research officer gained lot of research experience in qualitative and quantitative projects by carrying out independently in order to understand the behavioural as well as attitudinal changing aspects of human society.
