I am writing as the primary Planner of this activity to inform you that we are applying for CE credit through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and they now utilize an online accreditation application system. In the upcoming weeks, you will receive an email from the AANP system instructing you to log in to complete your information. AANP no longer uses paper disclosures or fillable PDF’s for these important documents; this information required for your role (either Planner or Faculty) will be completed in this system. It is also a branched-system meaning you will only need to answer questions based off your responses, thus reducing the amount of time you will spend completing these requirements. Important information for Faculty (speaker, moderator, or poster presenter):To gather the information on your session, I have attached a spreadsheet for you to input your session information. Please complete, save it as YOUR LAST NAME_AANP, and return to me via email. (this is optional – you may gather the session info in any manner as long as you enter it all on the single spreadsheet in the application)If you are involved in a Speakers’ Bureau related to your topic (i.e., on a SB for a diabetes med, and are speaking on treating diabetes) you will also be required to upload your presentation slides for review in the system before the system will allow you to submit. These can be in final PPT format, in final draft PPT format, or in final slide PDF format. As the Planner, I am unable to submit this application to AANP until all participants of this activity have completed their information; therefore, the deadline to complete your portion of the submission is DATE HERE.I will be your contact throughout this process should you encounter any issues (YOU CAN ADD ADDITIONAL CONTACT INFO HERE).
