Gottlieb, MHA, President, GOTTLIEB INSURANCE ADVISORYMark Gottlieb is an independent insurance broker who offers a wide array of products to persons of all ages in order to assist them to protect themselves and their loved ones. He is appointed to offer products from multiple well-known and well-rated insurance companies. Mark has served as a captive agent for several large insurers, including New York Life, but prefers to work as an independent agent/broker so that he may offer whichever product on the market offers the greatest value to his clients. Mark entered the insurance industry in 2000 specifically focused on Long Term Care Insurance products, after having been employed by a major developer of Senior Living Communities. During this time, he recognized the tremendous growth in the aging of the population and the associated need for people to understand and financially prepare for the latter stages of life including the need to consider LTC insurance as an important financial option. Mark has also served seniors in the capacity of Administrator of a 150-unit Senior Living Community, during which time he worked closely with seniors & their adult children re: financial and other care-related issues.Mark is a “full service” agent, offering products including but not limited to health insurance, life insurance, critical illness, disability income protection, cancer, long term care, and Group Voluntary products (employee-paid via payroll deduction) such as Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident, and Long Term Care policies. In addition, he offers a wide array of products helpful to the mature market, which include Annuities, Medicare Supplement and Advantage products (certified to offer AARP products), and Long-Term Care insurance options.Mr. Gottlieb is licensed to sell insurance products both in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Virginia, and is also approved to sell both Medicare products and LTCI “Partnership” policies. He also offers products to assist people who can no longer purchase LTC due to their health situation; such products including Life Care Funding, Medically Underwritten Annuities, Annuities with LTC doublers, Indemnity products, and Medicaid Compliant Annuities. Mark has a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration and was previously licensed in the State of Maryland as an Assisted Living Administrator. He is certified by the DC Metro Area Alzheimer’s Association to conduct seminars for caregivers and family members, and he also teaches classes (for those either preparing for or in retirement) both at Montgomery College Division for Lifelong Learning in Rockville, MD, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Washington, DC, in addition to serving as a Volunteer Speaker for the Mid Atlantic Chapter of the Alzheimer’s association. ................
