CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

AB LAB

What is it? A speedy class packed with plenty of moves to strengthen your abs, lower back and trunk.

BOOT CAMP

What is it? A non-stop workout using a series of basic athletic-style exercises to produce a cardiovascular and muscular endurance challenge.

CARDIO SCULPT

What is it? A combination of intense cardio and strength training all in one class. You’ll use free weights, tubing, the step and anything else the instructor has in store for you that day.

CARDIO BOX

What is it? Train like a boxer and punch up your fitness level with various boxing drills using gloves, mitts, and a kick pad. Add to that cardio drills and bodyweight exercises for an awesome total body workout.

CORE CIRCUIT

What is it? A circuit-based class with a heavy core training component that will keep your heart rate steady. Come prepared to sculpt and shape your torso with everything from abdominal, lower back and full body exercises.

KICK-N-SCUPLT [pic]

What is it? A mix of kickboxing favorites and strength training drills that will challenge your body and keep your heart rate up. All levels welcome!

PILATES BARRE

What is it? Jazz up your Pilates workout with this fun class that combines the principles of Pilates with the vertical challenge of a Barre class!  Get the best of both worlds with standing exercises and mat work using small weights and other props, all set to upbeat music.  This class emphasizes safety and body awareness while still keeping the intensity and high energy of a Barre workout at the forefront.

POWER BARRE

What is it? Take Barre Fit to the next level by adding various equipment and different forms of resistance to the exercises. Sneakers recommended for the first part of this class.

RESTORATIVE MEDITATION (January only)

What is it? Learn to center yourself and take a mental break with this class. You will start off with some breathing and light ing and light Yoga stretches to help open and relax your body and then move towards guided silence and meditation practices.

SOCACIZE™

What is It? SOCACIZE™ is a creative blend of high/low aerobics, African, and Caribbean dance movements performed to calypso, soca, zouk, reggae, dancehall music and on occasion drums. Rhythms to make you move; exercises that focus on cardio, weight loss, and strength training, targeting all age groups. Socacize turns your workout into a party!!!

TRX®

What is it? Total Body Resistance Exercise (TRX®) is a form of suspension training that uses your body weight as resistance. Helps with core stability, strength training and definitely keeps your heart rate up. All levels welcome!

VINYASA YOGA

What is It? A class featuring the ancient practice of Yoga; a series of asanas (postures) to increase flexibility, energy and stillness of mind.
