Talk about what adjectives are.TUESDAY: Review what adjectives are. Where they are mostly found (before a noun).WEDNESDAY: Review information about adjectives from past few days.THURSDAY: Go over the Homework sheet.FRIDAY:Guided Practice:MONDAY: Have sentences on ActivBoard and have students identify adjectivesTUESDAY: TSW identify adjectives in sentences, add adjectives in sentences, or write their own sentences with adjectives. Have a few sentences to demonstrate each.WEDNESDAY: Review Adjectives- describing words that tell what color, how many, what it looks like, what it smells like, etc.THURSDAY: Hand out the Language Test to the Students, go over the directions.FRIDAY:Independent Practice:MONDAY: TSW complete the rest of the sentences on the worksheetTUESDAY: TSW write their sentences on writing paper. They will then exchange with another student in class. They will identify the adjectives in the sentences or add adjectives in the sentences with colored pencils. (TSW HAVE 3 SENTENCES, WHERE AT LEAST 1 SENTENCE HAS THE ADJECTIVE ALREADY IN THE SENTENCE)WEDNESDAY: The students will get into partners again and complete Mad Libs with only simple parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.)THURSDAY: TSW complete their Language Test on their own.FRIDAY:Closure (Summary of Lesson):MONDAY: What are Adjectives?
