BENEFITS
▪ A subscription to the quarterly Journal of Individual Psychology, a scholarly journal with over 500 pages per year of research, practice, and applications of Adlerian Psychology. This is a $56.00 savings for those in the US who choose a membership that includes the Journal ($68 savings for those in Canada and $77 for those in other countries) – Professional, Retired, Student, and Affiliate Organization Members receive the Journal.
▪ Six bimonthly issues of the NASAP Newsletter, containing interesting articles on the most recent information about Adlerian theory and its practical applications, including an insert on a contemporary topic. In addition, you will find book reviews, consulting tools, training opportunities, reports on NASAP business, and discount book listings.

PURPOSES
▪ To promote the knowledge, training, and teaching of Individual Psychology, the name given by Alfred Adler to the psychological theory and practice he developed;
▪ To support the activities, efficiency, and development of individuals and groups in Individual Psychology (IP);
▪ To encourage research in and to stimulate the further scientific development of IP;
▪ To establish training centers and institutes of IP;
▪ To extend the availability of psychotherapeutic services;
▪ To publish journals, books, and pamphlets on IP;
▪ To maintain contact with other groups, associations, and schools of thought in the field of psychology, education etc.;
▪ To encourage and assist local or area groups and training institutes to organize and affiliate with the Society.
The Society operates according to the Codes of Ethics of the American Psychological Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, the International Coach Federation and expects its members to subscribe to these Code related to their discipline. BY joining the Society, you agree to operate according to the professional code of ethics which applies to your profession or discipline.

$17 FAMILY EDUCATION provides training and resources in Adlerian principles that promote and encourage the ongoing development of healthy relationships within family systems.
$15 PROFESSIONAL CLINICIANS promotes training, knowledge, and teaching of Adlerian psychology for use in clinical settings; encourages interfacing with other schools of thought. (Members must be professional clinicians or in training.)
