High Ability/Scholarship StudentsGraduate Assistant Position DescriptionSummary of Position: The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking a graduate assistant to work with the Associate Director of Admissions for Recruitment to innovate recruitment strategies for high ability students. This person will work with partners across campus to help plan UWG’s Scholarship Day and other scholarship/high ability related events. This GA will also directly supervise the Student Recruitment Team for Admissions and serve as the advisor/coordinator for scholarship students. Position Duties: Work with Associate Director of Admissions to create communication plans for recruiting High Ability/Scholarship Eligible Students (including recruitment visits both on-and off-campus, email, scheduled calls through the Evening Call Center, print pieces, and social media networking)Directly supervise Student Recruitment TeamAssist with logistical planning for the UWG’s Scholarship Dayrecruiting and training volunteers both professional and studentassigning volunteers to roles for scholarship dayManage and expand the service commitments required for all annual scholarship and waiver recipients through the continued development of an Admissions Scholarship Ambassador Program.
