| | |Investigates claims of abuse & neglect of children and/or maintains caseload of |Knowledge: Federal, State & Local laws regarding abuse & |

| | |appropriate and/or manages caseload of foster care and/or adoption assessment and |intake/placement procedures; investigative procedures |

| | |placements. May conduct foster and adoption homestudies and updates as well as foster|relative to case assignment; documentation required |

| | |and adoptive home recruitment as a significant part of the position. Significant | |

| | |amount of time spent in the field conducting interviews and gathering information, | |

| | |transporting children and/or families; and routine home visits. Utilizes ODJFS |Skill: evaluate situations for potential dangers, |
