Project Update Notice: 2021 Sussex County Resurfacing Program December 8, 2020

The 2021 Sussex County Resurfacing Program is currently under development within the Sussex County Division of Engineering for the 2021 construction season. A Project Update Notice with more detail will be distributed as the project progresses and construction approaches.

Project: 2021 Sussex County Resurfacing Program

Description: Includes the Milling, Paving, Striping, and ADA upgrades,

as necessary, of select distressed Sussex County Routes.

Miles of Roadway in Preliminary Project Pool: 34.76? miles

Work performed under this program will include some or all of the

preliminary routes with final scope of work to be determined based

on bid prices and available funding.

Anticipated Schedule:

? Design: Ongoing

? Advertisement: Winter 2021

? Award of Contract: Early Spring 2021

? Construction: Spring/Summer 2021
