July 1, 2009: KeyImpact Sales & Systems, Inc. (KeyImpact) and The Market Dynamics Group, LLC (MDG) issued a shared announcement today of their intent to merge the two food service sales agencies. As KeyImpact’s largest merger to date, the agreement significantly enhances resources in the New England and upstate New York markets, providing clients with a greater level of service and support.

MDG is a leading food service sales agency in the northeast United States, with coverage in all of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut as well as Albany, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo, New York. Headquartered in Natick, MA, MDG has more than 70 employees and represents a complete portfolio of national and regional brands.

Known for being innovators in the industry, MDG specializes in localized marketing and integrating advanced technologies into the sales processes for the benefit of its customers. MDG’s partners include Bob Galvin and Mark Hughes, as well as Peter Infantine and Jeanne Sawyer. They bring 75+ years of combined food service industry experience.

“KeyImpact is an excellent company that has implemented a vigorous strategy of regionalization in order to best meet the needs of the food service industry in the 21st century,” says Galvin, Chief Executive Officer and President of MDG. “As a strong advocate of regionalization and greater critical mass, joining with a professional organization with the resources needed to meet the goals of all trading partners is a sound business move.”

Hughes, President of MDG New England, adds, “Teaming up with KeyImpact will enable us to provide a stronger, more efficient service offering. They have the structures to optimize transactional efficiencies benefiting all trading partners.”

KeyImpact President Dan Cassidy agrees, “This merger is a clear win-win in helping to more completely fulfill the food industry’s needs in the northeast. By leveraging our combined relationships to the benefit of client principals and business partners, we’re confident they will receive even greater results and return on their investment.” Cassidy also adds, “KeyImpact has admired MDG and how they go to market for the past 20 years, we have always wished we could work together.”
