ABOUT THE SOUNDTRACK

The Soundtrack for OFF THE LEDGE features artists from all over the world, including: Australia, the UK & USA.

An eclectic array of indie artists with styles from pop, funk, rock, punk, Euro-rock to high energy rock and roll… the artists featured on the OFF THE LEDGE Soundtrack all support the substance and vibe of the film.

Hal Lindes who was a part of Dire Straits for five years working with Mark Knopfler on various groundbreaking albums composed the score for the feature.

Dave Miller read the script during Pre-Production and was inspired to write what became the theme song for OFF THE LEDGE along with Jamie Walker from Boston Shaker, who regularly perform the song during their shows in Australia.

Nathan Cavaleri, Australia’s young prodigy guitarist and renowned producer/performer agreed to produce and mix the “Off the Ledge” theme track at Song Zu Studios bringing on Andy Walker as the singer. Nathan then went on to write and record the Opening Title sequence track “Shindig” for the film.

A talented bunch of artists, bands and musicians have come together for the Soundtrack of… OFF THE LEDGE.

THE ARTISTS

HAL LINDES (Composer)

Hal was a part of DIRE STRAITS for five years, working with Mark Knopfler on various groundbreaking albums including "Love Over Gold" and "Alchemy". Hal has since moved onto film composing, utilizing his distinctive guitar work as a powerful voice, and painting rich and evocative backdrops onto the screen images. His scores have won various awards in Great Britain, including a Royal Television Society Award and a TRIC Award.

What the Press said about the TV sound track for “Reckless”: “The signature tune is an undeniably catchy guitar-twanging tune by Hal Lindes.” What the Press said about the TV sound track title for “Between the Lines”: “The series gives the apocalyptic impression that crime is ruling supreme and that there is not much hope for society as a whole; an aspect which is appropriately underlined by the outstanding musical achievements of Hal Lindes (ex-Dire Straits).” Hal has scored numerous film and TV series, most recently his work can be heard in “The Boys are Back” starring Clive Owen.

NATHAN CAVALERI (And the Dirty Skanks)

nathancavaleri

4 tracks – Shindig, Fake it, Top Heavy, Countdown (Also produced/mixed “Off The Ledge” theme song)

Cavaleri was diagnosed with leukaemia at a very early age and this led to playing the guitar to take his mind off the disease. Nathan then became known as a guitar prodigy, achieving a huge amount of success when he was just a young teenager. When he was nine years old he played with Mark Knopfler, the lead guitarist of The Dire Straits, who called him 'unbelievable'. After appearing in a disney film “Camp Nowhere”, at the age of 10 Nathan was signed to a worldwide Recording Deal with MJJ Records & Sony. Later that year he released his second album titled “Nathan”. Three of the tracks off this album have appeared in movies.

Nathan was asked to perform for the Guitar Player 25th Anniversary alongside performers such as John Lee Hooker, Ry Cooder, Jeff Baxter the Alman Bros, Steve Morse to name a few. Nathan received the only standing ovation for the evening and this set the pattern for his subsequent trips to America. He was then invited to appear on such shows across America as CNN, Conan O’Brien, Entertainment Tonight, Arsenial Hall Show, HBO, E, and Good Morning America.

In 95 Nathan flew to Zurich to perform at a 3day festival called “Out in the Green”. This was to be his largest audience yet, a crowd of 60,000. Nathan appeared on the billing with such greats as Bo Diddley, Rod Stewart, Chuck Berry, REM, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, Sheryl Crow and Elton John. September that year, B.B. King asked Nathan to accompany him on tour across America to crowds numbering 10’s of thousands, in all the best venues e.g., The Greek Theatre in L.A. The Shoreline, in San Francisco, and The Paramount, in New York.

In December 1995 Nathan had the privilege to be asked by his friend B.B.King to Perform for the then President of the United States Bill Clinton his wife Hillary, and B.B. King himself at the White House, the event was to honour B.B.King, Sidney Poitier, playwright Neil Simon and Marilyn Horne for their life time of achievement. Nathan shared the stage with Etta James, Bonnie Rait, Steve Cropper, Dr John, and Joe Lewis Walker.

October 2000 brought an incredible opportunity to be a large part of the opening of the Paralympic Games in Sydney playing to a live audience of 110,000 people, and an estimated satellite cross to 23 countries around the world. Nathan began producing local bands and co-writing around the world until he teamed up with Col Hatchman (former Screaming Jets drummer) to form pimp-rock band Dirty Skanks. Intentionally injecting only one independent album into the rebellious teenage market, Dirty Skanks toured nationally every school, schoolies and greasy pub that would have them until Col Hatchman made “The Guiness Book of Records” for being the loudest drummer in the world for Jeans for Genes day.

Having released three albums with Epic Records, Cavaleri also has played with Tommy Emmanuel, Robben Ford, Jimmy Barnes, Diesel, Aaron Neville, has been featured on the soundtrack for Free Willy 2, and served as a spokesman for Peavey Guitars.

While still producing bands, Nathan is working on their next project which merges his credible blues roots with the worldly variety of styles absorbed over the years. In Nat Col and the Kings, formed with Col Hatchman (Screaming jets) Cavaleri writes and arranges his own material, employing his unique techniques as he tours.

BREE SHARP

3 tracks – Robots in Love, Counting Back to One, Everything Feels Wrong

Bree Sharp was born in Philadelphia, and learned to play guitar by age fifteen. By 17, she had moved to New York City to study theater at NYU. She eventually returned to music and, while still in college, began writing the songs that led to her 1998 record deal with Trauma Records.

In July 1999, Sharp released her first album, A Cheap and Evil Girl, to strong critical reviews. The album's first single, "David Duchovny," quickly garnered a cult following both for its musical qualities and its comical references to the titular actor. There was an unofficial video of "David Duchovny" produced by Will Shivers and Charles Forsch, production assistants and producers from the set of "The X-Files", that featured a number of celebrities crooning the lyrics.[1] The video was a hit on the internet and was circulated widely in the underground fan community.[2] Bree's second single was "America," an examination of contemporary American culture.

In August 2002, she released her second album, More B.S., on her own label, Ahimsa Records. In September Sharp released Live at Fez, a recording of a May 2003 performance in New York City.

In 2005, Sharp began working as a writer on the Fox Saturday morning anime series Magical DoReMi. She also contributed the song "This Side of Paradise" to the dubbed English version of Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys and "Team Up!" as the opening theme music. She also contributed the song "Where the Girls Are" in the 4Kids Entertainment edit of Winx Club.

In July 2007, Sharp starred as Leila in Vassar College's Powerhouse Summer Theater workshop production of Pete Townshend's The Boy Who Heard Music. The production was adapted and directed by Ethan Silverman and presented as a staged concert reading.

On August 2, 2007, Sharp announced that the mixing of her long-delayed third studio album, Robots in Love, was all but complete. However, instead of releasing it in that form, Sharp has teamed with Don DiLego to create a band called Beautiful Small Machines whose first EP contains the new Robots in Love material. Bree also makes a Cameo in OFF THE LEDGE.

FRANKIE MORENO

4 tracks – Bahamas on the Billboard, Fatt Mannequin (Featured in the Trailer), Misery, Ghost

Singer, songwriter, pianist and multi-instrumentalist (including mandolin & the harmonica) Frankie Moreno has commanded audiences all across the country with his high-energy music and playful stage antics. His songs are cleverly crafted and his musicianship is virtuoso. His music is consistently rich with influences of rock, funk and classical, and yet, each of his live performances are very different from each other, never painting the same picture twice. He is unquestionably a unique artist and an all around talent who puts his heart and soul into his music.

Earlier this year Frankie decided to mix things up a bit and went on a world-wide tour with the 80’s band AIR SUPPLY. Moreno also concluded a series of shows with the country music artist BILLY CURRINGTON during his road tour with fellow country music artists and CMA winners Sugarland.

Frankie latest collaboration with for Sony Records with world renowned violinist JOSHUA BELL has reached #1 on the Billboard charts in two categories. Frankie and Joshua both performed their arrangement of the Beatles classic

“Eleanor Rigby”. Also featured on the album are Sting, Josh Groben, Chris Botti & Regina Spektor.

An all around performer, who plays a mass of instruments while singing during his shows… which is especially hard to do while holding the audience in the palm of his hand; when not touring around the world, Frankie performs 5 nights a week in Las Vegas. His fifth album “Gift” was just released last year.

EGGSHELL EGOZ

2 tracks – Funky Poetz, Taking my Time

“Imagine Primus doing a pop-funk project...there yet? Now you have Eggshell Egoz, a slap happy band of pop-perfected funk with a tinge of obscurity riding the fringes, all soothed with the vocal performance and comfort of Jack Johnson. In two words...Joyride Rock!" Billed with acts such as Gavin Rossdale (Institute), Killola, Liz Phair, Outlett and Raining Jane, their positive, high energy live shows have made them a staple at theaters, festivals, bars and universities. Eggshell's third album, Naked, is set to release in Fall '09, with their single "Take To The Sky" leading the way.

Eggshell Egoz could only have originated from California. This jumpy, infectiously giddy band marries the white funk of the Red Hot Chili Peppers with the sing-along pop hooks of the Barenaked Ladies and the sun-baked lethargy of Sublime," Carlos Redondo (World Where you live) "Great music, great lyrics, great fun", PCH radio show. "It is fun stuff, the kind of partying music you want blowing out of your speakers on a summer afternoon", Howie Mitchell, Fear of a Rap Planet "Eccletic, a painting for the ears", (Kelly Matfa, Music World) "Fun filled; cruise to the beach type of debut, slather on some lotion" (Ronald Gross, blogger news).

Their song “Funky Poetz” was just just nominated for the best song in a film by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards – “Off The Ledge”.

BOSTON SHAKER

.au

1 track – Rob Banks

Tight, economic, pumping fists in the air, Sydney band Boston Shaker is 'high energy rock n roll'. Not your usual rock band but rather drawing on various influences - a little bit blues, a little bit rockabilly, a little bit Country, some pop thrown in for good measure and a whole lot of rocking out!

The band started when Sydney brothers Ryan (lead vocals) and 'Jimmy D' (guitar/vocals) decided to combine their talents and work on some catchy energetic original songs. They called on long time friend and cocktail barmen extraordinaire 'Pablo' to play bass and when they enlisted talented drummer 'Ange baby yeah Blackshaw'' the lineup was complete.

"Sporting former Skulker drummer, Angela Blackshaw, Boston Shaker might be citing contemporaries like Audio Slave and Incubus but what they're really doing is marrying the effervescent vigor of The Stray Cats on the track Testify and the pop vim of The Easy Beats on Rob Banks with a dash of vaguely tongue in cheek big ballad dramatics on Get Them Back, and they're doing it with a remarkable degree of accomplishment and self-confidence!" Drum Media.

BOSTON SHAKER were Top 5 finalists in the US based international competition BREAKING THE BAND and their song OFF THE LEDGE is the theme song for the full length feature film, of the same name, due for release in Australia later this year. They have played to packed venues alongside The Mess Hall, British India, Airbourne, the Hilltop Hoods and Regurgitator and are winners of the 2008 NA2R (New Artist 2 Radio) .au rock category.

Their debut single Testify is currently gaining momentum on commercial airwaves right across the country and they have just finished shooting the video clip to accompany their new single to media. Testify is released through MGM.

One of the bands members Jamie Walker also Co-wrote the theme song to “OFF THE LEDGE.”

SUPERFICIAL SAINTS

1 track – Time is of the Essence

Superficial Saints is a band all about the fans, reaching for deeper connections between musician and the masses, cultivating a sound that hearkens back to the glory days of rock and roll. Their latest EP written by Lead Singer/Founder, Chris Poulson, and produced by Erik Ron, "Salvation", demonstrates a return to a time when great music and radio-friendly tunes were not mutually exclusive. Hitting wide on multiple online music venues for free download, Salvation's first single, "For You," foregrounds the band's diverse, solid songwriting skills, wrapping strong vocals and finely tuned guitar sounds around solid keys and thundering percussion.

The five-man band has been gradually garnering a buzz since forming in early 2007, when Poulson gathered the best musicians he'd come across after his time spent rocking the California coast with (Warner Bros/Reprise) rock act, Rock Kills Kid. The collaborative dynamic showcased on songs like "Died Young," an obsessive scorcher about losing a fantasy girl to twisted fate, and "The Promise," which highlights the band's vocal harmonies, has been drawing successively drawing bigger and bigger crowds to the band's Southern California shows and has led to sponsorship deals with several rock lifestyle companies from Ernie Ball and Coffin Case, and Spaun Drums. However, one spin of Salvation, particularly the disc's fiery free-wheelin' climax track "Ride of Your Life," makes it unquestionably clear that these guys spend more time perfecting tight rhythms and solid songs than they do on hair care. Sound engineer Erik Ron and Poulson's decidedly radio-friendly production perfectly captures the essence and raw energy of Superficial Saints' powerhouse live shows with three-minute songs that shake the foundation of popular music while at the same time revitalizing and rebuilding what rock and roll is all about.

In 2010, prepare to get deep with the Superficial Saints.

RYAN HANIFL

2 tracks – Little Girl, Sullen Girl

Ryan is a highly respected Los Angeles based session singer, songwriter, and recording artist. Ryan has shared the stage with the likes of Tony Lucca, Tera Naomi, Rie Sinclair, Young Royals, Jerry Cantrell, OWL, Chris Pierce, Meiko, Greg Laswell, Jay Nash, Alien Ant Farm, Hoobastank, and LIT to name a few.

As a performer and music producer, Ryan’s talents have been featured on hundreds of TV, radio, and commercial productions. 2007 also saw the release of Ryan’s long awaited and highly anticipated solo record, “Sourpuss”.

LAZAROS DOG

lazarosdog

1 track – Things That you find up your Arse

Lazaro’s Dog are a 5-piece band from Adelaide, South Australia. Known notoriously for “Home Entertainment System”, which reached #2 on Triple J’s Net-50 and #82 on the Hottest 100 (2001), the dog have played extensively since 1998. The original line-up was spawned from a raucous cover-band - Jellyfish Sandwich. Adopted as Triple M’s artist of the month, Lazaro’s have not grown old gracefully. Current members are Vic Pisani, Dave Culpin, Lovell Delacy, Corey Bishop and Lee Dewey.

THIRD GRADE TEACHER

4 tracks – School Boy; Here’s to Rock and Roll, I Don’t Want it, Fantastic Pant Suit

The 3GT line-up is lead woman and actual third grade teacher Sabrina Stevenson (the real version of the one you saw in the movie "School of Rock"), who has got a voice wired for high-octane purrs and howls and a look that takes the mod-schoolgirl look up a few sophisticated notches -- in a certain psycho-sexy vibe kind of way. Meanwhile bandmate Laura Smith schools her guitar, pounding out commanding bass lines. Then there are "the boys" with Rob Ahlers (drums, vocals) channeling Keith Moon while David Guerrero (guitar, vocals) gets keenly engaged in creating, maintaining and mastering sonic excellence and balance.

The release of Third Grade Teacher Reveals the Secrets of the Universe marks the pinnacle of the band's aggregate experience thus far. They've taken their decidedly rock, heavy pop punk-influenced sound and shaken things up -- think the Pixies meet the Monkees with Chrissie Hynde working magic on the board.

Put the damn books down and turn up the volume! It's time to take a raucous aural recess with Los Angeles-based rockers Third Grade Teacher. The foursome are gearing up to release a new record, Third Grade Teacher Reveals the Secrets of the Universe, with the single "Fantastic" moving toward the head of the class.

LEERONE

1 track – Care for some Whiskey

Over the course of her inspired career, Leerone has triumphantly upended pop conventions while hewing to the great singer-songwriter traditions of her Los Angeles forebears (think Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell and Randy Newman, to name a distinguished few). Now, on the heels of her two independently-produced debut EPs, Leerone delivers her most vivid, most wide-ranging recording to date. Produced and engineered by Christopher Fudurich (Jimmy Eat World, Nada Surf, Matthew Sweet, Fishbone), Imaginary Biographies features 11 original compositions where British pop, classical-tinged balladry, Euro-rock influences and theater sensibilities collide with Leerone's uniquely impressionistic lyrics. "I think of this batch of songs

as little stories and worlds that exist in my mind," the singer says of Imaginary Biographies. "I was thinking a lot about when something is imaginary, whether we choose to keep it imaginary, or to make it real. That's where the title of the album came from."

With its all-things-considered approach, Imaginary Biographies marks a logical progression. On Leerone's 2003 debut EP, "In This Life, On This Road," the singer masterfully juxtaposed winsome original melodies and soul-searching lyrics against brute rhythms that recalled the early 1970s dawning of hard rock. By comparison, her 2004 EP "Hail to the Queen" was a complete about-face -- six original tunes sung and performed to the sole accompaniment of Leerone's own piano. Within the short span of two recordings, Leerone had demonstrated the drive, vision and confidence of an artist with three times the experience.

Leerone not only composes and sings all of her material, she also conceives and designs her cover art, snaps some of the photographs featured on her recordings, and designs her own stage attire. She hints that even more spirited creativity is yet to come. "It's not necessarily just about music for me -- it's about artistry and how it can come in different forms," Leerone says matter-of-factly. "When you look at it that way, employing other mediums to complement the music just seems natural."

SAMANTHA MOLLEN

1 track – Perfect World

Samantha Mollen has established herself as an innovative song writer and potent lyricist through her debuted EP entitled "Don't Make Me Sound it Out". Her ambition, endless potential, and unique sound will only drive her to success. Often compared to the likes of Stevie Nicks, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, and Porthishead, she finds innovative ways to express timeless emotion. “Don’t Make Me Sound It Out” is produced by Stevie Blacke who has worked with artists such as “Beck” and “Anna Nalick”. The EP also features Joey Waronker (Beck) on drums, David Wilder (best known from his work with Macy Gray) on Bass and Stevie Blacke on strings and keys. Mollen wrote and composed all the tracks featured on her debut album. Raised in San Diego, California, Samantha began singing Patsy Cline at the tender age of 6. Inspired by her mother’s record collection she quickly developed a need for music in her life. At the age of 15 she began playing guitar which allowed her to embark on her songwriting journey. THE LONG CUT

1 track – Lonesome No More

The Longcut formed in Manchester in 2002 while attending the University of Manchester. Originally a four-piece, their vocalist left soon after the band started and the remaining members intended to make purely instrumental music. In 2003 their experiments with cheap drum machines led to a new sound and their unusual stage setup (with original drummer Stuart Ogilvie alternating between live percussion and vocals). The band’s original sound and energetic live performances brought them to the attention of the record industry in 2004, eventually signing to Liverpool’s Deltasonic label. During 2004 the band also became friends with Manchester promoters Akoustik Anarkhy and indie/grunge band, Nine Black Alps. The two groups shared bills together at various house parties (one in Longsight was filmed for the video to ‘Transition’) organised by Akoustik Anarkhy and The Longcut, eventually touring together in early 2006.

The Longcut released their debut EP ‘Transition’ in November 2004, followed by ‘A Quiet Life’ in June 2005. Both EPs sold out

and were well received by the music press. The band continued to tour throughout 2005, including appearances at SXSW, Glastonbury Festival and Fuji Rock Festival. Work on their debut album, A Call And Response, began in the summer of 2005. A mini-album (a compilation of their UK EP’s) was released internationally in 2006.

A Call And Response was released on June 12th 2006, followed by Vitamin C as a lead promotional single. A Tried and Tested Method would soon follow, and continued to attract album sales, released on October 2nd. The single received more media coverage than any of their other releases to date, with the video being played frequently on a lot of the UK music channels. Since the release of A Call And Response the band have gone on to release The Airtight Sessions EP. The disc is a live session recording of the band’s previous work with new song Idiot Check making up the four-track listing, and was for a time free to download for all subscribers to the band’s official site.

The band then went on to release a limited 7” single and download on Manchester independant label Melodic on March 19th 2007. Limited to 500 copies, the 7” will featured Idiot Check (recorded at the sessions for A Call And Response) and a cover of the Candy Staton / Source dance classic ‘You Got the Love’. As with their previous single releases, it sold out quickly and was well received.

The second album ‘Open Hearts’ became available for download on the 8th June 2009.

JOSH MOBLEY

3 tracks – Narrow Escape, I’m in Here, Lay it Down

Josh is a composer for Television, film and mixed media. Recent projects include: The U.S. Department Of Defense, Patient First, Ford Motors and NBC's The Office.

He is a self-taught composer/producer and has been honing his skills and refining his craft since first banging on a piano at age three. Born into a musical family and raised on various communes by "progressive" (ok ok, hippie) parents, Josh found his horizons broadened irreversibly upon his high school discovery of Punk, Metal and Tangerine Dream. This musically diverse background served him well as he proceeded to play keyboards in a variety of rock and funk bands, further developing an interactive and intuitive approach to rhythm and melody. With the advent of digital composition, Josh took his craft to a whole new level, exercising the programming and sampling skills he'd developed along with a keen ability to write emotionally evocative material while always staying slightly ahead of the curve in the ever-changing world of studio technology. This combination of hard technical skill and artistic empathy led to successful collaborations in a variety of projects with a wide range of artists and original compositions. As demand grew for his re-mix and collaborative work, Josh also became a sought-after commercial composer, fielding requests for broadcast and film music. With a seemingly inexhaustible supply of talent, inspiration and tech-savvy, Josh Mobley is a musician at the top of his game. He currently resides in his native Baltimore where he kicks out the fresh science daily.

CUPBOARD

.au

4 tracks - Single Girl, Rewind, So Ugly (Horny Mix), Sticks in Your Head

There are tunes that serve as wallpaper for our lives, and then there are songs that demand attention and enhance our existence. These are the songs that stop you in your tracks via a combination of voice, lyric and music that compel you to listen again and again, inducing you into an exhilarating trance. This is the spell that Aiden Schofield and David Miller wanted to cast when they penned their tunes; creating songs that end up inhabiting your brain... and every inch of your body.

Having both toured separately throughout Australia with a diverse range of bands, (Aiden was the lead singer of Josh, who won the 1995 Australian Triple M Homegrown Competition) Dave and Aiden met during a gig, and clicked immediately. Their

varied tastes transformed their music into an enigmatic “opposites attract” phenomenon, that created an unusually appealing combination of quirky lyrics, tangled in infectious tunes that divulge a story to which we can all relate.

Pop/rock heavily influenced their direction, and the objective became writing memorable, commercial songs that capture a diverse range of audiences. Whilst playing throughout Sydney, the crowds became so receptive that Cupboard embarked on the recording of their first CD in Aiden’s bedroom studio. Receiving favorable reviews and airplay on various FM radio stations, they continued to write and record their own material, honing their sound.

These bedroom grown CD’s brought them to the attention of Australian producer Peter Blyton, (The Choirboys and Midnight Oil) and L.A. producer Nick Brophy, (known for his recent work with such successful bands as Garbage and Everclear.) Brophy collaborated with Cupboard in his LA studio, writing and recording the infectious pop song “Get To You” that zoomed up the charts to #3, out of tens of thousands of songs submitted in the Pop/Rock category of

Their unique songwriting skills were quickly sought by other artists, including the first animated band developed by Sydney Animation Company, Fudge Puppy. Cupboard spent a month in Nashville collaborating with various writers. This led them to Memphis where they recorded 3 demos with cutting edge record producer Greg Archilla, who has worked with many internationally recognized artists and bands; including Matchbox 20 and Collective Soul.

Cupboard is a band that knows no boundaries; from their universal theme of “Never Get Over You,” to the eccentric “Sticks In Your Head” and quirky “Get To You,” not to mention the female anthem “Single Girl,” these guys without a doubt stand out from the rest of the crowd.

MUSCLE TWIN

cd/muscletwin

1 track – Weapons of Mass Destruction

Baltimore trio takes their first at bat with their self recorded ep "Examples of Progress".

AIDEN SCHOFIELD

1 track – She’s Out of Reach

Aiden Schofield is a singer-songwriter originally from Manchester England, he lived in Sydney Australia for many years and now lives in Cleveland USA.

At 14 he taught himself to play guitar and began to try his hand at songwriting. That same year, he formed his first band; Innovation, with friends from school. Three years later, Aiden had developed a sense of confidence on stage and a better understanding of what it takes to be in a band and work together as a unit. At 21, he joined The Buddy Holly Tribute Show as a guitarist and vocalist, playing around the Sydney and North Coast areas, to a wide variety of audiences. One year later, he joined covers band Big Bam Boom, which drew crowds of over 1500 people, and Aiden became comfortable playing to a large crowd.

Throughout his early band experiences, Aiden was continuing to develop as a songwriter. After about two years with Big Bam Boom, he decided to form an original band, Who's Joshua?, which later became Josh.

Josh was very successful, winning local band competitions, as well as the 1995 Australian Triple M Homegrown Competition. The success of Josh resulted in a professionally produced 4 track CD; Cool Pedestrian, national radio airplay, articles in Sydney newspapers, appearances on Sydney radio, a spot on Australian Foxtel TV, live performances and a strong fan base. Unfortunately the fan base wasn't strong enough and Josh disbanded. Aiden then formed the band Cupboard.

Cupboard's first accomplishment was to record a 12 track CD of original material, which received favorable reviews from

record companies and the public alike. This CD brought them to the attention of Australian producer Peter Blyton, (Midnight Oil and The Choirboys) Cupboard then attracted management and traveled to Los Angeles to write and record with producer Nick Brophy, known for his work with Everclear and Garbage.

From there, Aiden and Cupboard travelled to Nashville to write with prominent songwriter Chris Pelcer (Coyote Ugly Soundtrack) and Al Sostrin from Universal Music. Next, they headed to Memphis to record with producer/engineer, Greg Archilla (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul). During this time Aiden wrote many songs for Cupboard. After returning from the USA with valuable experience, Aiden continued to forge new ground with Cupboard, who received airplay on Nova 96.9 and performed live on C91.3, two prominent Sydney radio stations.

Cupboard disbanded in 2003 and Aiden recorded a 6 track EP with the band Kynaphonic. Moving to the USA, Aiden recorded the jazz CD; “All Jazzed Up”. He has also released three solo albums; Self Titled, The Illusion Of Perfection and the brand new album; Damage. All currently available on iTunes and other online stores around the world. He is working on his fourth album which should drop June - July 2010.
