SLCC Contractor License Renewal—Licensure InformationUPDATED: 1/24/2022SLCC’s Contractor License Renewal Continuing Education (CE) courses at SLCC are approved by the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL) to meet the CE requirements for Contractor license renewal. Completion of the Contractor License Renewal CE courses does not guarantee the ability to obtain or renew a Utah state Contractor’s license. Licensure is the exclusive right and responsibility of each state. In order to practice as a Contractor, students must satisfy individual state requirements, independent of SLCC course requirements. It is highly recommended that students consult in advance with DOPL, or similar agencies in other states, to find out more about eligibility for licensure. DOPL can be reached at 801-530-6628 or at their website. If you have difficulty finding the licensure requirements for your state, please contact Paul Jones, Program Manager, by email or by phone at 801-957-5372. You can also contact the SLCC’s state authorization coordinator for help.
