Assistant Dean for Continuing Legal Education, West Virginia University College of Law, March 2017 – Present

• Directs the premier continuing legal education program in West Virginia, serving a population of 7,000+ attorneys through approximately 20 full-day live seminars per year

• Responsible for operation of self-sufficient, revenue-generating unit with annual gross returns of $500K

• First change in office leadership in 37 years; overhauled curriculum following analysis of five-year trends in attendance, session ratings, and frequency of programs

• Complete responsibility to identify key players in the legal market, research new developments, and develop appropriate programming and services

• Updated service contracts, vendor agreements, software providers, and payment systems to comply with State regulatory guidelines following unit absorption into WVU

• Implemented long-term strategic scheduling and on-going assessment of programs to allow for proper attorney planning during reporting periods

• Maintains knowledge of trends within CLE, including ABA Model Rules and guidance; ensures compliance with various states’ MCLE requirements and deliverables
