Bio
After 17 years in Hospitality Management, Alison transitioned into the Healthcare industry in 2007, first as a specialty practice manager. Just two years later she moved into the world of Healthcare Facilities Management as a Plant Operations Manager for Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH then Dartmouth-Hitchcock as a Senior Facilities Manager. Her experience in hospitality has helped to guide her strong customer service and leadership skills, while professional association experience has significantly contributed to her working facility knowledge today.
Alison's current role is System Director of Facility Operations with Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. Here she directs and supports the managers and teams that facilitate physical plant operations, maintenance, projects and real estate for a three hospitals and associated regional ambulatory buildings. Alison works collaboratively with leadership on strategic planning for the built environment, including budgeting, site selection and increasing building utilization. Her goal is to build and maintain infrastructure that supports efficient and effective operations while building strong relationships between the clinicians, staff, patients, hospital leadership, vendors and community leaders.
Immediately upon entering the healthcare engineering profession, Alison was introduced to the New Hampshire Society for Healthcare Facility Managers, the New England Healthcare Engineers' Society and ASHE. She volunteered right away and has been an active member, holding a board position for over 10 years. Alison's commitment to NHSHFM, NEHES, ASHE and her profession remain strong. Alison was President of NEHES twice and is currently serving as the ASHE Region 1 Advisory Board Member.
Education: B.S. Business Administration, 2019, Southern NH University, Summa Cum Laude.
