Mission Projects GuidelinesDue Monday, March 16thDrawing: On chart size paper (see Mr. McCurdy), draw your mission. It may be a 3D drawing or a drawing looking down onto your mission. Caption a minimum of 10 highlights of the mission. This could include what was done at different parts of the mission, the natural resources around the mission, or historical events that took place at your mission. (Similar to our Island of the Blue Dolphins Island Project)Video: Create a video of your mission. Include pictures that highlight parts of the mission, it’s history, and present day use. The video should be 3-5 minutes long.Slideshow: Create a Google/PowerPoint slideshow of your mission. Include pictures that highlight parts of the mission, it’s history, and present day use. The slideshow should be 10-15 slides long. Minecraft: Create your mission using Minecraft. Add your voice to the presentation that highlight parts of the mission and it’s history. The Minecraft video should be 3-5 minutes long. Food: Research the food eaten at a mission and prepare a recipe from this time period. Bring it to class to share. Create a mission cookbook with at least four recipes. Include a cover for your book that includes a title and your name. Comparing: Compare 2 California Missions. Compare a minimum of 10 aspects of the missions. Include pictures and descriptions. You may compare them using a slideshow, creating a typed book, or in a video. Puppet Show: Make a minimum of 2 puppets and present a short puppet show about mission life. The show should be at minimum of 3 minutes long. You may make puppets of the Missionaries, Native Americans, Spanish soldiers or all 3!Board: Create a tri-fold board that includes the founding of the mission, present day use, life on the mission, and jobs of the Native Americans.
