At the hour of 9:00 a.m., the Board of Commissioners of McCone County, Montana, met in regular session with Janet Wolff, Connie Eissinger and James Moos present. Presiding Officer Janet Wolff called the meeting to order. The pledge of allegiance was recited. The agenda was approved.

The Board met with Charles Nerud, Jack Limesand and Pat Murphy, members of the Stockyard Board, regarding the quotes needed for repairs to the scale house.

The June 25, 2012 minutes were read and approved as corrected.

Commissioner Eissinger reported on the MACo Health Care Trust, the MACo Board of Directors and the Litigation committee meetings she attended last week in Helena.

Barb Green, HUB representative, and Ben Fletes, Safety Coordinator, met to review the draft on a return to work policy.

The meeting was opened to public participation at 1:00 p.m.

Dennis Tolan, Road Superintendent, met to discuss road issues.

Sheriff Dave Harris joined the Board to discuss a tower on which Roosevelt County has offered a contract for McCone County to put a repeater.

Jackie Becker, Treasurer, met to review the new bus route proposal by the Vida School

and set the date for the Transportation Board meeting on July 18th.

The Board placed a call to Tara DePuy, MACo Land Use Attorney, to clarify some issues involving the easements for the proposed road petition.

Commissioner Moos moved to approve the petition to establish a county road contained in Township 19N,

Range 49E, sections 29 and 30, beginning at HWY 200 West and extending to the northeast

corner of section 30 for a length of approximately 5/8 mile. Commissioner Eissinger seconded and the motion passed 3-0.

The Board reviewed correspondence the remainder of the hour.

The meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m. to attend a farewell party for Mary Garfield, retiring Justice of the Peace.
