Starring the talented Natalie Portman as the eponymous character, the story details Jackie’s private pain along with the management of her very public grieving. But of fascinating interest is Jackie’s realization that history had handed her the opportunity to construct the narrative of her husband’s legacy. Many of JFK’s handlers believed Jackie to be politically na?ve, but perhaps because of that belief, she was able to single-handily fashion the enduring Camelot myth regarding her husband’s presidency. If you have ever wondered about the enigmatic Jackie – and who hasn’t – this is a film not to be missed. Instructor Paul Marino will introduce the film, raise questions to ponder and host a post-viewing discussion. Sponsor: Tina Pritchard.Fee: $7 includes glass of wine or bottle of water. Limited seating available. You may secure your seat in advance by calling or stopping by The Hub. Masks are required.Location: The Hub on Canal, 132 Canal Street, New Smyrna Beach.
