Home Extension Activities with parental supervision:
• Practice “walking in space” using very big and slow steps.
• Keep a balloon in the air batting it with different body parts, e.g. hand, elbow, nose, knee, foot, etc.

2 cups plain flour 2 tablespoons oil
2 cups warm water 1 cup salt
4 teaspoons cream of tartar 4 teaspoons black food colouring
1 ½ tablespoons gold glitter
1. Pour all dry ingredients, flour, salt, glitter and cream of tartar together in a saucepan.
2. Add black food colouring to warm water and stir until blended.
3. Add coloured water and oil to dry ingredients.
4. Whisk before heating to remove lumps and blend the ingredients well.
5. Cook over medium heat constantly stirring until it becomes a thick blob.
6. Turn out play dough onto a clean surface and knead into a smooth ball. Be careful the play dough will be very hot! Use a little bit of flour if it is sticky.
7. Knead and roll the play dough until smooth.
8. Store in a plastic zip lock bag or air tight container.
