Position Summary and RequirementsThe ICT Officer will act as the YMCA South Australia System Administrator, providing ICT (Information and Communications Technology) support services to Corporate Services and all other YMCA sites, services and operations. The ICT Officer will liaise with IT and communication consultants and contractors to provide a reliable network and secure connection, and up-to-date, state of the art technology and service in respect to the extranet, internet, telephone systems and computer hardware and software.The ICT Officer will constantly monitor all servers across the organisation for any unknown intrusion and real time detection and removal of any malicious script/virus or spyware and provide update every staff on every new threat which will pose a grave threat and disrupt our information systems.Key AccountabilitiesKey TasksMeasuresICT SupportRun proactive checks of the server and ensure completion of backup requirementsTroubleshooting and identifying software and hardware issues (Windows 2008, 2012 and 2012R2 server, modem, phone system, CCTV or printers)Install, configure and support software, hardware; implement file backups, configuring systems and applicationsInstall and configure PC's cabling, network, phone and print devicesUser account management, set-up and manage new/existing employees (account and hardware)Set up email distribution groups and make changes as requiredManage WAN VPN networkMaintain Hyper-V hosts and virtual serversTroubleshooting windows OS issues, Email, links POS (Point of Sale) setup, NBN internet, VoIP phones, remote desktop access and shared folder accessMonitor and maintain YMCA domain controllers and monitor domain controller’s replicationMonitor and maintain DNS, DHCP, IIS Manager, remote gateway server and Microsoft Azure serviceMaintain and upgrade SQL database (Links, MicroPay and LEJerMaintain a Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Office 365Links, Reckon QuickBooks and Micropay software upgrades, technical assistance and set-up (not day-to-day application support)Monitor and maintain YMCA Extranet (SharePoint platform), including user account managementAdvise on and purchase ICT hardware for all YMCA South Australia sites aligned to procurement procedures.Support and service activities are prioritised based on impact to business operationsGovernance documents, policies and procedures are current and align with contemporary practiceTechnology risks are identified, managed and maintained in the ICT risk registerAdherence to organisational procedures and policiesNetwork systems downtime is minimalMaintain accurate registers for the management of ICT assetsContinuous Improvement Participate in quality improvements activities to promote continuous improvement in service deliveryMaintain quality systems and reportingResponsible for IT related policies and proceduresProactively drive the ongoing assessment and monitoring of ICT capability and maintenance requirements.
