Amazon’s MBA/Master’s program exists to build a leadership pipeline for the organization. MBAs and master’s level students at Amazon are given ownership of large areas of opportunity and autonomy to think strategically and make decisions that have a significant impact on our customers and business. Internships are 11-12 weeks in duration and consist of a strategic project that is data intensive, analytical, centered on a real business issue, and representative of the full-time role.Retail Leadership Development Program (RLD): RLD is a three year leadership development program with the goal of providing MBAs a path to category leadership at Amazon. In this program, MBAs rotate through two different functional areas such as Vendor Management, Instock Management, Marketing Management, Category Merchant Management and/or Retail Product Management within two distinct categories. This allows participants to complete RLD with an understanding of the key roles within retail and become effective general managers capable of leading large, complex organizations and solving large scale business challenges. Full-time and internship roles are available in the US (Seattle), China, Japan, Mexico, and Europe (UK, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, Spain). Sr. Product Manager (PM): Sr. Product Managers at Amazon invent new products and features on behalf of customers (merchants and consumers). PMs work cross-functionally to drive ideas from conception to execution, develop business models and marketing plans, define and analyze success metrics, manage strategic projects, and own the product end to end. PMs ultimately become general managers responsible for running large business segments and organizations. Examples of organizations where PMs may work include: Kindle, Seller Services (including Marketplace, Webstore, and Fulfillment by Amazon), Prime and Delivery Experience, and Logistics, and Traffic. Full-time roles are available in the US (Seattle) and Japan. Internship roles are available in the US (Seattle).Sr. Product Manager – Technical Products (PMT): The primary role of a Sr. Product Manager of Technical Products within Amazon is to assume end to end product ownership over one of our technical product offerings. PMTs are expected to dive deep into the technology both from a product and customer’s perspective, working with software engineers and business partners to define, build, launch and grow new technology-driven products and services. These products might be hardware offerings, software or technical services; and customers often include developers, IT departments or enterprise CIOs. Examples of organizations where PMTs may work include: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Appstore & Games, Digital Media & Marketing, Kindle Device, Amazon Instant Video, and Supply Chain Optimization Technology. Full-time and internship roles are available in the US (Seattle).Pathways Operations Management (Ops): This field-based three-year leadership program has challenging assignments in our fulfillment centers and customer service sites. Pathways hires start as Area Managers (leading 50-100 hourly associates) and subsequently become Operations Managers, where they lead other Area Managers. Graduation from includes promotion to Sr. Operations Manager. Full time and internship roles are available in the US, Canada, China, and Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic). Sr. Program Manager (PGM): Sr. Program Managers work across the organization to find solutions to complex problems within operations, supply chain and logistics. PGMs are given responsibility on their first day to own those business challenges and the autonomy to think strategically and make data driven decisions. They drive efforts, both independently and as part of larger project teams, and significant impact on customer experience and business. Full-time roles are available in the US (Seattle) and Europe (UK, Germany, Luxembourg). Intern roles are available in the US (Seattle) and Europe (UK, Luxembourg). Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP): FLDP is a three year leadership development program. Participants join Amazon as Senior Financial Analysts (SFAs) and are given significant responsibility from the start to drive both business and financial decisions. SFAs are expected to evaluate and quantify new business ideas, execute controllership and reporting for their businesses, and perform data-intensive analyses, all to drive meaningful change and improvement in the way we serve our customers. Full time roles are available in the US, Japan, China, and Europe (UK, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, Spain). Internship roles available in the US, China, and Japan.HR Leadership Development Program (HRLDP): HRLDP is a three year leadership development program designed to prepare MBA and master’s level candidates for accelerated careers in HR. Participants in this program develop a broad set of skills and experiences within Human Resources through rotational assignments, program management, training and mentoring. Full time and internship roles are available in the US.Amazon Web Services (AWS) CloudPath Program Manager (CP): CloudPath is a three year program to prepare MBAs to become leaders within the Amazon Web Services Infrastructure team. Participants can rotate through Amazon’s Supply Chain & Procurement, Data Center, or Engineering organizations. They will be expected to drive efforts with significant impact on the customer experience and business. Rotations are designed to challenge and develop leadership and analytic capabilities. While the preferred qualifications vary role by role, applicants for all our full-time and internship roles must currently be enrolled in an MBA or equivalent master’s level program and have three years of industry or military work experience prior to the master’s program. Students interested in full-time roles must have a planned graduation date before their start date. Language proficiency in the local language is required for all roles in China, Japan, Mexico and for most roles within Europe.How do I apply?
