National Personal Development Programme Manager Location: Auckland preferred, other locations may be consideredPart-time hours: 0.6FTE (3 days per week)The purpose of this role is to lead the provision and delivery of learning resources that best meet the needs of our people, Players and Personal Development Managers. This will involve providing Learning & Development strategy support, logistical programme co-ordination, administration and support to the Personal Development Programme team, its events, and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include but not limited to:Learning & DevelopmentLead the continuous refresh of our Learning & Development strategy, based on the needs of our players. In collaboration with Personal Development Managers, lead the research, development and implementation of high-quality learning and development content that meets the Personal Development Programme needs. Including but not limited to the following programme pillars:Career and Education Financial and Asset Management Professional Rugby Personal Skills WellbeingAuthoring, development and maintenance of engaging learning interventions and materials which leverage our connections regionally, nationally and globally. Combine adult learning theory and design methodologies into a meaningful mix of media and methods, including the use of online learning. Adapt initiatives to meet the needs and requirements for different areas of the Programme. Work closely with management in implementing initiatives, monitoring the progress of the initiatives, and making the necessary adjustment to make them munication & Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain a professional and reputable network of external providers who can be called on to deliver educational content and on-going support to players in the areas identified above. Liaise with external training providers and educational institutions to identify and coordinate appropriate external training solutions.Influence and build positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Ensure key stakeholders are well communicated with regarding the development and implementation of programme initiatives and associated resources. Other TasksSupport the National Personal Development Programme Manager in managing, developing, and supporting the wellbeing of the Personal Development Managers.Work with the NZRPA Operations Manager to ensure all logistics for internal programmes, conferences and/or meeting are managed appropriately i.e. venues, transportation and accommodation.Key AttributesExperience in learning and development, organisational behaviour, talent development or succession planning preferred.Strong understanding of learning methodolgies and adult learning principles. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make the complex simple.Know their way around creative digital tools and platforms.Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively?with other team members but also able to work well independently.
