Item Labels

Before shipping your items, you will need to affix to each product unit the label that we provide. This label contains our standard barcode identifier, which we use to process and track your inventory in our fulfillment centers. It is important to follow the guidelines below.

Sample Item Label

Key Information for Item Labels

Item labels that are supported measure 1" x 2-5/8". This size of label can be found at any office supply store. Removable adhesive labels are recommended instead of non-removable labels. When labeling items, remember:

You must cover any original barcodes with the new item label. Each item needs its own item label. You must match the proper item label to the corresponding item. Item labels need to be readable and scannable.

Once you have labeled the products, pack them in as many boxes as necessary.

Important Note on items

The items enrolled and shipped to Amazon as part of Amazon Vine have to be identical to the retail ASIN. Any difference will result in a longer processing time at the fulfillment center or will not be received by the fulfillment center.

Item Label Placement

Cover any original barcodes. When affixing a label, cover the entire, original manufacturer's barcode (UPC, EAN, ISBN) with your label. Failure to completely cover the barcode can cause errors.

If your items go through, it could result in lower ratings by the reviewers or no reviews being published.

Amazon Vine does not support:

Splitting of retail packs or sending 1 unit of a pack that contains several (ie. Sending 1 paper towel roll when the ASIN is if a pack of 12)

Bundling of items (ie. Sending a camera and an SD card) Multibox items (ie. A TV stand that is comprised of 2 boxes) Boxes that weigh more than 150 lbs Items that do not fit on a pallet as described below in page 2

Common Errors

The following errors will slow down our receiving process and could result in your items getting lost in our fulfillment center:

Item not labeled (no sticker) Item mislabeled (sticker does not match item) Item label not scannable (low ink or toner in the printer, smudged labels) Quantities shipped do not match what was expected Original barcodes showing Item sent does not match retail ASIN Different Items mixed in 1 box

Shipment Labels

All boxes arriving at an Amazon fulfillment center must be labeled with our shipment labels, as described below. Boxes without these labels might be delayed or lost.

Labeling shipments-Each box must have the correct shipment label in a location and condition that is visible and scannable. Place shipment labels no closer than 1.25" from any natural edge and don't cover with tape or anything that would cover any critical information. Do not combine shipments in boxes; each box should have products from only one shipment.

Delivery appointments-For any shipment not being sent small parcel delivery, carriers must schedule a delivery appointment no less than 24 hours before the intended delivery. See the Amazon VendorCentral Vine Shipping help pages for the necessary forms and information and read the "Pallets Preparation" section below.

Common errors-The following errors will slow down the process by which Amazon can receive your units and make them available for sale:

The box is too heavy (>50 lbs.) without proper "HEAVY WEIGHT" warning or heavier than 150 lbs.

The quantity shipped does not match what is listed in shipment. The box has extraneous labels from previous uses of the box. The box contains units from multiple shipments. The shipping label was close to the edge of the box and got damaged during

shipping

Pallets Preparation

If your shipment is sent as a small parcel, you can send it without making a prior appointment with the Fulfillment Center. If your shipment is larger and is not considered a small parcel, you will have to make an appointment with the Fulfillment Center. In this case please search for "Advance delivery appointment requirements" in the Help section of and review the following video to learn how to build a pallet that will be received properly:

As a general guideline, please be aware that FC associates are trained to compare the retail ASIN characteristics with the item they receive and they will not receive any item that has differences. Amazon Vine does not support:

Boxes that weigh more than 150 lbs. Items that do not fit on a pallet as described below

Pallet type
