Congratulations!! The AUSBE & MBA/ISM Graduate Student Association raised $180.00 of pledges to help the efforts in fighting Heart Disease.
Many companies, organizations, clubs and individuals participated in the Heartwalk at Safeco Field Saturday, October 20,2001. A grand total of over $500,000 dollars were raised to fight America's No. 1 killer - heart disease and stroke. Over Four and a half Thousands people participated in this years Heartwalk. The event was Seattle’s largest walk of the year as is clear that many find it a rewarding experience that is a part of the reason the American Heart Walk has become one of the nation's fastest-growing walking events.
Most participants had the following experience:
➢ Helped save lives by raising funds to help fight cardiovascular diseases, America's No. 1 killer.
➢ Enjoyed fresh air and physical activity.
➢ Spent time with friends and family.
➢ Had fun!
