The Community District Education Council 29andThe District 29 Superintendent Mr. Lenon MurrayInvite you to the First AnnualHISTORY FAIR Saturday, February 11th 20172017 Theme – “TAKING A STAND”GUIDELINESScholars will prepare an exhibit that is related to the theme “TAKING A STAND” and use the topics listed below:Pre-K through 2nd Grade - Family History: My Community3rd Grade through 6th Grade - World History7th and 8th Grades - American History Each entry project must have a completed “Summary Statement Form” (see attached).Scholars have the option to do research with actual sources and can interview scholars, experts, and participants or witnesses.Papers are printed (one-sided) on plain white 8.5x11 inch paper with one-inch margins on all sides and page numbers. Use 12 point font Times Roman and double-space text in the body of the paper.“Think of the History Fair Exhibit as a mini-museum”.Each entry must be posted on a tri-fold: 72 inches tall, 40 inches wide and 30 inches deep.
