The National Emergency Child Locator Center’s Unaccompanied Minors Registry American Red Cross Safe and Well- The National Emergency Family Registry and Locator System (NEFRLS).There is no State cost share to an activation of NEFRLS. However, there must be an IA declaration in place for NEFRLS to be activated. At present there is no formal activation process for NEFRLS. Then FEMA would offer to fold federal and national partner staff- e.g., The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the American Red Cross (ARC) into the State Task Force (either boots on the ground or remotely – as the State prefers) Facebook’s “Safety Check”- tells your friends that you are safe during a disaster In the area- Google Person Finder helps people reconnect with friends and loved ones in the aftermath of natural and humanitarian disasters- PEOPLE LOCATOR?- Find and report missing family, friends, and animals during disasters.
