ANA to be the Official Airline Sponsor of the Myanmar National Football team

ANA will support Myanmar's most popular sport, Football

TOKYO, November 29, 2017 ? ANA will sign a sponsorship agreement with the Myanmar Football Federation on December 1, 2017 ,which will make ANA the only official airline sponsor of the Myanmar national team, ANA will help lead Myanmar's team toward further growth. This will mark the first time for ANA to be a sponsor of national football team as official airline sponsor. ANA is also planning to host football clinics for children living in Myanmar, with lessons given by members of the Myanmar National Team. The Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) was founded on May 17, 1947, and joined FIFA in 1952. It is one of the founding members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) which was formed in 1954. The Myanmar national team has long been a strong team in the Southeast Asia region, with a history of having won the Southeast Asian Games five times in a row. The team still continues to demonstrate marked growth. ANA has contributed toward providing convenient access between Japan and Myanmar, a country that is showing tremendous economic growth among the ASEAN nations, by operating first direct regular flight between Japan and Myanmar in 1996. Currently we have regular daily direct flight between Narita and Yangon. ANA Group has also been accepting trainees for airport ground handling from Myanmar at Narita Airport and has contributed toward talent development in aviation industry in Myanmar. ANA is committed to conveying the beauty and potential of sports by supporting various sporting activities, and hopes for a bright and successful future for Myanmar's National Football team.
