1. Richard Kennedy (RIM) is the chair of the group. Peter Ecclesine (Cisco) is the vice-chair of the group. Chair called meeting to order: 21:00 pm ET.

2. Agenda of the teleconference in 11-11-1122-00-00af-august-15th-teleconference-plan-and-agenda.ppt is reviewed and approved by unanimous consent. (Chair recognized the document title has the incorrect date.)

3. Introduction

1. Chair welcomed participants to the Task Group teleconference.

2. Chair introduced the officers of the group.

3. Chair reminded participants to record their attendance by sending mails to rikennedy@ , petere@ and LAN@nict.go.jp .

4. Administrative items

1. Chair presented the links for the documents related with the administrative items.

2. Chair reviewed the patent policy and meeting guideline slides. Is there anyone who is not familiar with the IEEE Patent Policy? None.

3. Chair asked: Are there any patent claim(s)/patent application claim(s) and/or the holder of patent claim(s)/patent application claim(s) that the participant believes may be essential for the use of that standard? None.

4. Chair reviewed other guidelines for IEEE WG meetings.

5. Chair reviewed the TG chair function.

5. Peter Ecclesine reviewed the progress of editing work.

1. REVmb 10.0 is already on the server.

2. There is an update of ANA, TGaf will not be allocated ANA number until 75% percent approval is received.

6. Rich Kennedy reviewed the updated information of September ad hoc meeting.

1. Padam Kafle (Nokia) will not be able to join the ad hoc meeting.

2. Peter Ecclesine will provide Webex facility for people who cannot join the face to face ad hoc meeting.

7. Peter Ecclesine presented document 802.11-11/1111/r2 for TLV related comment resolution.

1. Padam Kafle asked if the single TLV only works for US only.

2. Peter Ecclesine responded there will be only one ANA value for the single TLV, another table has to be provided for another country.

3. Zhou Lan (NICT) commented compound TLV is needed for nesting TLV into another TLV to avoid repeating same set of information.

4. Padam Kafle commented we should use Subtypes for TLVs that parts of Types.

5. Peter Ecclesine commented should be replaced by in Subtypes to avoid misunderstanding of the numbering.

6. Santosh Abraham (Qualcomm) commented 1 octet validity in WSM can be mandatory field instead of optional field from the perspective of overhead.

7. Peter Ecclesine commented mail discussions are needed to decide the scope filed.

8. Chair asked if there is any other business, hearing none, we are adjourned at 23:00 ET.
