Treatment

Outpatient Care

Community mental health centers (MHCs) provide comprehensive mental health services, offering outpatient, home-based, school, and community-based programs to children, adults, and families in every county in South Carolina. All 16 DMH community MHCs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services.

Inpatient Care

DMH’s inpatient services are provided at three hospitals: Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital, G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital, and Morris Village Alcohol & Drug Addiction Treatment Center.

Nursing Homes

DMH operates three veterans’ nursing homes: Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, Veterans Victory House, and C.M. Tucker Nursing Care Center-Stone Pavilion; and one community nursing home, C.M. Tucker Nursing Care Center-Roddey Pavilion.
