As we await the start of Advanced Placement (AP) testing, I would like to inform you of several announcements pertaining to the exam process. AP testing will be administered during the weeks of May 3rd - May 17th. Testing will begin promptly each morning at 8:00 a.m. AP students need to arrive at the testing location 20 minutes prior to each one of their exams. Students arriving late to the testing site will not be allowed to test that day.
Principal Hettenbach will allow AP students to attend classes remotely on their test date. For example, if your AP exam is from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, you may be remote for the rest of the day. If your exam begins at 12:00 noon, then you are allowed to be remote for your other classes that morning.
Most of our in-person AP exams will take place in the Southwest Guilford High School Coggins Gymnasium. As a reminder, please allot plenty of time for travel and do not rush/speed in order to arrive at your testing site in a timely manner.
You are encouraged to access the AP Digital Testing App on your school-issued Chromebook to practice subject specific, example test questions. The app has been pushed out to each student’s Chromebook device already. Students who use their own personal devices will need to install the app themselves.

-CELL PHONES- IF YOU ARE SEEN WITH OR SUSPECTED TO BE IN POSSESION OF A CELL PHONE DURING THE TESTING SESSION, BREAKS INCLUDED, YOU WILL BE DISMISSED FROM THE TESTING SITE IMMEDIATELY!!!!

-Books/Nooks/etc.
-Dictionaries
-Scratch paper; notes can be made on portions of the exam booklets
-Colored pencils/highlighters
