Talking of the environment in the ethics statement means that apple is bent on ensuring that the environment is safe and does not want to be one of the contributors of environmental pollution. This means that are concerned of the people around them and will not want to cause any external harm.At this point, I feel that the company ethic statement has touched on the major parts that we would want it have. However, on the part of employees it should add the fact that it will be compensating the employees fairly for the work that they do for the company.Social initiatives taken by the companyApple has taken a mark by being green apple. This means that they have resolved to use green energy in their outlets as way of reducing environmental pollution and caring for the environment. As per their website, the company has gone just beyond their products to ensure that they have contributed to positive environmental growth as well as sensitized their consumers, through their products to ensure that they conserve and protect the environment. In many other stores across the world, apple ensures to purchase green energy to use in their day to day work.
